what happens if you do a re-flash with the OEM exhaust, then you get a slip on and a de-cat later?

I have to do this. The only drawback is no FZ-10 for a week?
I guess I could ride the wife's FZ-09.

Us Postal Service is the way to go. for shipping into Canada, pretty fast actually.

OK,
I guess I'm just a little confused. What does this flash do exactly? I understand it is not a specific dyno tune, but are there options on what is changed like cooling fan temp, EXUP removal, disable fuel cut, removing Yamaha power restrictions, etc. What is the meaning of an "unrestricted" flash?
I would like to remove the Yamaha power restrictions in the 3000 - 6000 rpm range and on the top end, remove the EXUP and keep the stock exhaust (I have wired the valve open), change the cooling fan temp to 200 F, and maybe some others options if available.
Thanks,
MrHix

Thanks, MrHix It's a tune built on the dyno and flashed into the ECU. An "unrestricted" flash is just that, all the factory restrictions removed. However, it does not mean it is tuned and actually can be unsafe. Our flash is fully customized to the modifications of the bike. All of the things the ecu controls, we can adjust. Fan temps we usually drop by 10 degrees etc

Thank you both.
2WDW, any idea on when you will have the list of items that can be changed with the flash? No real hurry, my BOSS is tired of all the $$$ I've spent on the bike lately.
Cheers,
MrHix

Calling him tomorrow. Thanks for the forum discount! Our pleasure! Thats the difference between a corporation owned forum, and a forum owned and run by riders. We find the very best shops who want to earn our business, and parter up and we all benefit. Nels has been providing tunes for our FZ-07 forum members and all the reviews are stellar! He cares deeply about everyone's bikes that he works on and we are proud to have him as a vendor!

Cheers, MrHix Again, the thing to do is call Nels and tell him what you want done on your flash. He can do almost anything but has a very limited amount of time to actually be on the forum. They are slammed with ECU orders from all over the world and dont have alot of time to be on here.

It seems to me that it will take a lot less time to write up one post on what can be changed than answer 100 phone calls.
If I don't know what is available, it will take a lot of time and probably multiple calls to decide what flavors to get.
Just trying to help.

Every rider's needs are different, different exhausts, different everything so it would be one giant confusing post that many wouldn't read all of.
I learned all of this the last two years promoting them on our fz07.org and FJ-09.org forums.
Please call Nels with your particular questions. Or, wait a few days until he has time to post here. He wants the calls, it's a lot faster on the phone rather than trying to answer hours apart on here.
Over time, he will update this thread and create others too.

He did tell me they would be doing a write up as well but off the top of my head i can remember: EXUP, AIS, O2's, Change fan temp, and Injetor Decel Cut as far as changes along with of course fueling, ignition, throttle mapping and restrictions, etc.
