Took some inspiration from Richie's bikes and swapped the cigarette lighter for 2 usb ports and a voltmeter. Luckily I'm no longer a smoker. I've been wanting to do this too since I saw his video. Only thing keeping me from installing one is you'll never know when you need to run something like a portable air compressor.

Didn't he end up reverting back to a standard power outlet for that flexibility?

I used to run an sae to usb adapter and connect it to the sae lead that came with my battery tender, and i used that all the time (particularly on longer trips for my phone and sena). I dont foresee going back to the cigarette lighter unless i run into qc issues with the Chinese usb sockets because I'd just use a cigarette => usb adapter anyway, and that's just 1 more thing to carry/forget. I cant think of any scenario where I'm carrying anything that would require a cigarette lighter -- never traveled with an air comp and odds are i never will.

I had Friday off work, so I got some local riding friends who were also off work and made a nice day ride on the MT. 300 miles of South East Ohio roads. I am still getting used to the bar end mirrors, but I can see well out of them.

I managed to find a very shallow dual usb cigarette plug jobby off amazon that sinks far enough into the port that i can have usb and still put the weatherproof cover on it when not in use, while still being able to take it out for a compressor or other such stuff. As as aside, its really nice having a cheap, standard cigarette lighter type plug, after years of euro bikes with the more expensive power adapter in the dash! The cigarette ones are literally available at every roadside gas station in case i need another!

If I could keep one plugged in all the time that would be ideal, saves me from having to carry one on me.

I don't think you can run a compressor of it. It's only rated to 1 amp. (according to the manual) better to go straight to the battery.

That puts a bit of a dent in my whole point for not swapping to a dedicated USB charger adapter as originally mentioned. I can't think of many things you'd need the OEM 12V DC power outlet versus the USB outlet, maybe older GPS devices. If hunkyleepickle replies back with which adapter he purchased I'd just go that route since I don't have to make any permanent modifications and still get a USB adapter which is sealed under the cover.

Yup, here's a link, it was from Amazon.ca, so can't be sure its the same product in other countries, but it seems to work just fine! www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B078WY7B6F/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Installed the Woodcraft Clip-on conversion kit today. I installed it in the "Down" position. I know a few people here installed it in the "Up" position. A whole lot more aggressive and paired with my Woodcraft rearsets, it puts you in an awesome riding position for cornering and you feel a lot less wind especially at the helmet. Install is a little bothersome in the "Down" position, especially the brake line. The brake reservoir comes in contact with the front cowling piece covering the gauge cluster so you lose the steering lock and some range of motion for low speed steering.

After comparing it to the one you linked to, they look identical. Yours isn't available through Amazon.com.

Can we buy a TFT display that comes Standard on the sp model and put it on a 2018 Mt10? I want to say no because the TFT display has menu options and stuff that is hooked up to the electronic suspension that comes with the sp model. Just like how if you wanted to put the factory autoblipper the 2018 R1 has on 2015-2017 R1, you can't just put the autoblipper on. You need the blipper, new dash and new ECU. I think the TFT will only work if you were to get a new ECU and the electronic suspension off the SP model to hook up.

I have to say, i'm not a fan of the look of the Corbin, but just looking at that thing makes me want to sit on it lol. Bags look nice too. Been pondering about picking up something for mine but not sure.
I don't have photos but I just dropped off a slew of parts to the powdercoater yesterday. Getting the bars & risers, triple, the Brembo bracket for the R1 MC conversion, stock rearsets, shifter, and kickstand all done in matte black.
