What have you done to your FZ-10 today?

Nothing today but so far I had to mount a new S21(?) rear tire, got a nail in the OEM. So far so good. I got the comfort seat, very nice. I have the tall windscreen on the way and I would like to get the saddle bags.

Oh, I also took the Shorai L.I. battery out of my FZ1 and put it in the FZ-10. These Shorai's are really great, like 5 lbs lighter than Lead Acid and I've used them in track bikes that get started every month or two and daily commuters, all the same starts right up, no issues.

Hand guards, heated grips and a tail tidy in the future.

It's not bad. The OEM seat is very hard. The comfort seat has slightly soft padding, which I think will break in a little more in time. It's definitely thicker.

So far I haven't done much to mine,added the Evotech radiator and oil cooler about a month ago,and yesterday I removed the rear pegs.

I started by doing my first oil change at 600 miles...used the Hi-Flo Race filter and my trusty Rotella T6. Excited to start opening her up more. 

I also re-connected my EXUP valve...the ONLY reason I did this was due to the fact that I am going into 2wheeldynoworks this week to begin working with Nels to get the tuning and dyno runs done on my bike. He said he wanted to have it stock to start so he can mess with everything as a good base point. The EXUP won't last long as I will be doing an exhaust soon but locking it open did make for a nice sound differece with no negative impact that I could feel.

I added some bobbins to the swingarm so I could finally use my rear stand. I am waiting on my bar ends which are being turned down for a mounting surface for my CRG Arrow Mirrors, but I feel the front end of the bike looks much better without the stock mirrors. While I was at it I changed the grips to something softer as I was just not feeling the stockers. Also removed the front reflectors to clean up the forks, the rears will come off when I get the fender eliminator of course.







I did add a tail bag as I have not fully adjusted coming from an Adventure bike with what felt like unlimited storage. It took some fiddling as the FZ-10 rear seat is an odd ball shape but it fits good now and functionality for the price seems great so far.













Last but not least, I removed the rear foot pegs. I just used the stock bolts in place for now until I get some plugs. Doesn't look terrible.



I am STILL waiting on my Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards...really hoping they are worth it but I will post back when I get them installed as well as the mirrors. I love this thing more and more each time I ride it.

I've just been riding mine. I was told today the Ermax tall windscreen I ordered at MotoStarz is on the way from France. I did mount the Barkbusters Storm hand guards from my FZ1.

Put red Pazzo levers on the bike today. They compliment the other red accents of the bike really nicely. So much better feeling and looking than stock.

Went out for pretty much the last ride of the season and met a twin!

I did. We were just chatting about the FZ-10 and the owner loves his bike. He's got an akrapovic exhaust on it and pazzo levers. He was parked at a different parking stall but he brought his bike over beside mine for some photos.
