All good here with my kit:
I didn’t farm them heating up; maybe the engine has to be on? I didn’t want to start it because my son goes to bed at 8 and I have my Akra 3/4 exhaust now lol.

Confirmed that the engine must be running for the grips to function, and the site I bought from in the UK has actually pulled them off at the moment. Not sure why, but I'm sure they're sold out and backordered due to high demand.

Did you get the same parts number as straphael from the post below? i ordered mine from crescent moto but received the same part number straphaelthe throttle tube seems to be the same as stock. However when I plugged in the connectors, nothing showed up on the TFT and when I go in the settings menu it’s not letting me select grip warmer settings. also my box came slightly damaged and the left grip wire looks like it was accidentally cut. I tried put electrical tape around but no luck. I wonder if that’s the issue? Could you try left connector and let me know if the right grip warmer is still detected on the TFT?

Guys I got shipped this kit but it doesn’t look right to me. The box part number is right but the grips don’t look like stock and the part numbers look wrong. I received the same parts. Did it ever work?

I have the same part number on my box, but I only received the two grips and 5 zip ties.
Did you mean try unplugging one side to see if they are still recognized? They work great, btw, once everyone gets the right parts in hand and installed. Not rubbing it in, just trying to be positive.
Quick edit that the "clamp" is probably a zip tie, so looks to be exactly what I received, but nothing in the instructions shows the grip part numbers and I tossed the bags already. Sorry.

Yes if you unplug one side, is the other side still recognized? i wonder if that’s the reason why it’s not showing up on my display since some of the wires have been accidentally cut during shipping

Time to send that back for replacement. Sorry that it happened, nothing sucks more to have stuff not be right out of the box.

I won't be able to test until next Friday.

No rush, just let me know what happens once you’ve done it. I appreciate it!
I sent an email to crescent moto. Their customer service has been stellar so far so hopefully they’ll be able to resolve the issue if the wires are the culprits

I checked for continuity on the wires and this is not the issue. I wonder if the ECU flash somehow disabled the grip warmer function. Any of you as the flash AND the grip warmers?
Also does anyone know where the fuse for the grip warmers is located?

Also does anyone know where the fuse for the grip warmers is located? I have a flash by 2Wheel Dyno Works and the grip warmers still work great. Is there only 2 contacts in the harness? Sure there's not some kind of ground as a shield or something? I searched the entire owner's manual and no mention of a fuse, despite the grip warmer function being mentioned plenty. When I get home Friday, I can check unplugging one like discussed.

Ok I have the same flash so that shouldn’t be the issue then. I couldn’t find the fuse for the grip warmers either in the Owner’s manual.
The previous gen mt10 had fuses under the hood scoop. I don’t think it’s the same for the new gen right? I’ll try to keep looking for something until Friday and I’ll update if I find anything before you get to check unplugging one of them.

You can download the owner's manual in PDF form from Yamaha directly: library.ymcapps.net/library/om/app/index.html?baseCode=6150&langId=02Pages 8-31 through 8-33 discuss fuses, but they say they are all under the seat for my 2022 model. I doubt the 23 is different, but if you have a 23 I'd recommend checking your manual.

Yes that’s what I did but there’s no mention of grip warmers fuse or auxiliary.
Mine is a 2022.
Btw I connected my voltmeter to the grip warmers connectors and voltage just drops then remains at 0 after start up. I don’t know if it’s normal or not?

Do these heated grips to be connected to the connectors inside the headlight like the MT09?

Do these heated grips to be connected to the connectors inside the headlight like the MT09? Yes and they’re activated via the TFT display
