This is really strange because the Yamaha website in the EU lists this exact part number for the MT10. So that would mean that the EU MT10 has a slightly different throttle tube than the US version which seems weird

I think there are a few members here that are from the UK.
If any of them is reading this thread, it would be nice if someone can take pictures of their throttle tube so we can compare them with the US mt10. At least we'll have an idea on where to start

I think I'm going to end up just doing something similar to this. I want the heated grips and I know supply chain is difficult right now, but why make these parts different across similar models of bikes anyway? Very important to note for 2022 MT-10
I think you have to trim more than what llavalle (from the FZ09 forum) did as even without tightening all 4 screws, the heated grip would not rotate either direction. I have to head to the hardware store for some 2x4's shortly, but I might be able to break out my dremel in a few hours here and report results/potentially show exactly what to dremel if anyone wants to order this kit. |

MSP says it’s for the MT-09/SP and not MT-10 but it’s literally listed as the same part number on the Yamaha Europe website for 2023 MT-10. At least with this other place it’s confirmed to be for the MT-10 and backordered, which would make me think it’s the correct kit. I don’t know how something with the same part number could be a different kit. The actual kit I received shows the part number B5U-829A-01. It cuts off the last 0-00. |

I would recommend not purchasing the kit from MSP and trying to make it work. After some time with the dremel, I got it to fit on the MT-10, but it wasn't secure enough and I could feel it kind of disengaging a bit.  |

Chatting with the support at Crescent Moto, they confirmed that they do in fact have the correct grip warmers for the MT-10 (not yet available, but you can back order, which they recommend due to high demand). I'm going to do that and order a replacement grip for the Tracer kit and either return it or sell it here stateside to avoid paying another $50 for overseas shipping.

I don’t really understand why they don’t fit if it’s the correct part number.
Maybe you should show them the part number on the Yamaha website and tell them it says it fits the mt10.
Did you ask them by any chance?

I have just installed the B5U-829A0-10-00 kit on my 2022 and they fit perfectly. Took Yamaha a while but now I finally have OEM heated grips with control from the dash….
