I wear an RF-1100, looking to upgrade to the 1200 or GT Air.

I wear the Arai Defiant, and absolutely love it. Expensive, but worth every penny for comfort, stability, and ventilation.

The main complaint ive had with most helmets is lack of ventilation. I now wear the arai defiant with the proshade. Works great, ventilates better than any full face ive ever seen and with the proshade it transitions right when i want it to. Sucks down on my head the faster i go rather than lifts and.....it gives me piece of mind after seeing that vid of the motogp racer that wrecked at 209 and hit the helmet hard 9 times before coming to a rest. Walked away from it.

My current helmet, which is by far the most comfortable I have ever owned, is the Shoei X-Fourteen. ...just a fantastic lid. ALmost as quiet as my Schuberth C3 Pro was (hard to beat considering how closely it fits to your face via the flip down front), but more plush with excellent ventilation. The C3 is still the quietest helmet I've owned (Shoei, Arai, Schuberth, HJC, Bell, Scorpion [hey, I was broke at the time] ...etc.). Tried it on, and got a great deal at the IMS motorcycle show in Long Beach, went strait to a Shoei rep to get his opinion on fit (cheeks were too snug) and he had me mail him the stock pads, and next-day shipped me thinner ones. Great customer service, great comfort, no lift or excessive noise at speeds in excess of 140. ...and it's got Shoei quality all over it! I've loved my Arais in the past, but they just haven't kept up with the times. ...same tired helmet design, essentially unchanged it seems, since the early 90s. I'll also say, nobody makes a visor as bulletproof as a Shoei visor!

The photochromatic visor works very well on the fourteen.

A Scorpion exo-500, not the quietest helmet out there..
Can't wait till I have the spare change for an rf-1200. Military pay sucks...

Got my Shoei X-14 and new tinted visor recently. I have a RF-1200 as well but man the X-14 is worlds apart from the RF-1200. Being on a naked bike I get a good amount of helmet lift and buffeting on the highway with the RF-1200 but the X-14 has no buffeting, no lift and is so stable that you barely can tell that the wind is blowing against the helmet. I can feel the amount of wind hitting my chest on the freeway but the X-14 just cuts through the air. Ventilation is also much better than the RF-1200. Such a sick helmet. Local store gave me 45% off the price tag which made it a steal really.

Got a new lid on Sunday. Bell Star. I’m not used to liking a helmet right out of the box but this ones pretty nice. Even got a couple extra MPG out of it.

I bought an Arai Signet-Q on sale to replace my Icon Airmada. It's a good upgrade but not as good as I would think. Probably safer though. Not a lot of choice for long oval head like mine. At least, it's a really good fit and it's really comfortable.

Be careful the Hi Viz yellow on the RF1200 Parameter doesn't match the yellow on the FZ-10

I just ordered a Shoei X14 after trying on helmets for over an hour, I must say there is some impressive lids available now. Arai was a close second but the X14 felt best for my hard head..

I've worn an HJC RPHA-10 for the last three years, an impressive helmet. On Thanksgiving I was just browsing around online and came upon a dealer blowing out HJC RPHA-11 Pro 'Spiderman' helmets for $260, a fantastic price for a $600 retail price helmet. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet but the quality is outstanding, and the ventilation is supposed to be one of the best, and it is a light helmet at just over 3 lbs. Plus I had to get it in order to match my Spider-man pinball machine.
