Please feel free to add you photos below, of ONLY the above 4 manufacture's items specifically made for FZ/MT-10), with your luggage attached to your bike.

I'll have to get some pics later, but I love my setup of the Givi ST601 side cases, V47 top case, and their smallest tanklock tank bag. Couldn't ask for a better setup

Since penultimate means next to the last, I think it will be a long time till the ultimate. ;-)
Cheers,

I've got the larger Shad hard bags, they've been great and the quality is nice. Just be sure if you have a passenger that they are gymnastically inclined to mount up.

Dave - the Shad system looks really good - was very tempted to go with those
0002s - maybe change the name of the thread?? I almost posted the Givi stuff in my original Givi Hard Luggage thread. Since this one is sticky, I decided to comply with your request to post all luggage stuff here.

I have a V47 and V35's in the garage already that I removed from my FZ1 before trading in. I'm thinking about going with this setup too. Do the side racks and V35s impede passenger foot room at all? Do you think there would be room for the stock turn signals if you installed a fender eliminator? ..... And one last question Could you take a picture with the side cases and side racks removed? Curious if any hardware is left on or if it will look just like the top rack only installed. Just installed the full-zoot Givi hard luggage system. I'm super impressed with the fit, finish and overall quality of the racks and luggage pieces. The racks fit up nicely - no "wrestling" or "tourqueing" with any of the components like other rack systems I have installed in the past. The pannier racks are quickly removeable via a special tool provided with the system. The panniers came with an extra lock cylinder to key the topcase to the panniers.

Man, some of those bags are certainly big-assed and they kind of negate the mission of the bike, but if you need the space you gotta' do what you gotta' do .... My needs are dead easy, I just use the -10 for 4-5 hour day outings in my area. I use a GIVI XStream 15LT tank bag, easy on/easy off with their tank mount ring. Enough space for Cruz tool kit, tire repair kit, small compressor, cleaning towels, water, my Kindle, phone, snacks and odds and ends. It's expandable if needed. Very happy with this day setup. best free image uploading site

They're for dank whoolies! We just fill them with bags of sand Jokes aside, I agree that they give the slender, agile girl a big ole booty. But damn are they functional. And they remove in 2min tops. I think it would be possible to ride to a trackday with this setup (disclaimer: non-hardcore noob here) or go grocery shopping. Also, I'm about 40 miles further north on I-35 than your map shows. Love me some Central Texas!

Question for all of you who have a top case rack that mounts to the side of the subframe (Givi, SW Motech, Shad) and not to the bottom (OEM): have any of your mount screws snapped yet? I've had two bolts shear off and it seems to happen at the 4 month/3.5k mile mark for me. I have a 52L trekker that is always empty and this seems to happen even with higher grade bolts. I'm waiting on my OEM mount and box to see if underneath the frame is a better location.

Anyone have any experience with the V35 and aftermarket exhaust? I have the Graves cat eliminator (the longer pipe without the valve) and want a set of v35 but am now concerned the exhaust with cause a clearance issue

That's very disappointing. Especially when the bolts they have for the side carriers are pretty much the same (which hold the passenger pegs to the passenger brackets). Seems like a huge safety issue! I'm doubtful that the Graves will fit. I considered several 3/4 exhaust options including the Hindle, Leo Vince, Scorpion, and Yoshimura. All 4 of these look to mount lower than the Graves, but I ultimately chose the M4 3/4 exhaust as I was concerned the others wouldn't fit under the V35s with the Givi mounts. I was worried someone would have that concern. Guess I should've thought that through a little bit. Maybe I'll stay mostly naked this year and get the bags and a new exhaust over the winter I'm doubtful that the Graves will fit. Jroc do you have any pics of your setup from the rear? Maybe something at a lower angle? Would the shad cases be more likely to fit? I feel like they stick put a bit more but look like they have more clearance towards the center
