Ordered a set of gb racing case covers and the ultimate mt staple -- crg arrows and rhinomoto bar ends. I got the v2 bar ends which allegedly don't stick out as far, so I'm hoping fitment is close to OEM.

Got my EvoTech levers installed. Installed the clutch lever last night and seemed to be some issues but got them worked out today; installed the brake lever today and seems like everything is all good. Cruise control works fine and the levers are much more comfortable for me. Sadly, last night, after being tired as hell, frustrated with the clutch lever, and just plain ol' clumsiness, I went to climb off the bike and forgot the kickstand wasn't down. By the time I realized it, the bike was past the point of no return and I couldn't muscle it back up. Had to just try and lay it down in the garage as delicately as possible. Luckily, was able to lay it down, re-position myself and lift it up in the span of 3 seconds and no damage done. Just moved the mirror out of position.

the black on black looks great. I was about to hop on the bike this morning and commute to work at 80mph. When I was backing the bike out of the garage I realizied I was so tired I put on my dress shoes instead of my riding boots. I put the bike down, and luckily after putting the boots on I noticed this luckily i have 4600 on the tire and delayed until this weekend to pull the wheels and get them changed. also I didn't die.

Glad you didn’t die also. If you had one of these www.dynaplug.com/index.html this would be a very easy fix. Was recommended to me on another forum. I have the pro extreme version. Literally a two minute job. So simple even I couldn’t cock it up. Recommended.

I pulled the nail out and I can hear a leak. I'd consider patching if the wear bars weren't starting to show. I already have a set of road 5s on hand. Today I put the case covers on, put the rhino Moto bar ends on (version 2 is allegedly more compact), removed the oem mirrors, and pulled the tires so I can go to a shop tomorrow. I was too worried about the abs sensor. I really prefer the oem pulse cover with the cp4 badging, but at least it'll be intact if I drop the bike at reasonable speed.

Just got a few questions for the both of you.
- What tailbag is that? - Is it affixed to the seat simply from the straps that can be seen in the pics? - Does your back/butt press up against it while riding? - If you wear a backpack at the same time, does the tailbag interfere with how the backpack sits on your back?

I like the factory CP4 cover as well. I went with Gilles Tooling that I got a smoking deal on.

Crash protection is the main objective to me, I ran across these on the forum or I would have went with Woodcraft, which aren't as "slick".

I think in another thread I saw him say his is labeled as an Arlen Ness, but mine is a Nelson-Riggs This oneYes it's held on by straps, they're quality and you can get them pretty snug. It stays out of the way of my butt. I haven't ridden it with a backpack, but it sits fairly low so it would probably clear. I guess it depends on the size of your backpack?

I put the oem seat on yesterday so I could get used to it for a track day on Saturday. I found it was in some ways more comfortable than the "comfort seat." I'll probably sell the comfort seat and wait for something a little more cushy to come out. I don't find the OEM seat uncomfortable at all However, I put up a link to some Italian seats and they offer memory foam sewn into them if you'd like to check it out.

Miss typed, mine is a nelson riggs 1060s. No issues with a backpack. If anything it gives me a bit of relief resting it on the tail bag. And my back/butt does rest on the bag, but once again i use it as a relief almost like a mini back rest.

Hey guys, watch out on the 1060s; there're TWO different models: 1060S and 1060ST, as in sport and sport-touring. The latter is significantly taller, but both are expandable, and with very similar W and D dimensions. Just wanted to give you a heads up, so you don't order the wrong one . I was considering those as well, but decided on the Ogio, which I had before. Good luck.

I've been thinking about getting the Graves exhaust and was wondering about added vibration felt through the bars, this happened to me on a bike years ago after exhaust was installed. I remember selling the bike for this reason, I'd hate to mess with a good thing as my FZ has no vibration at all..
