Giggity! Can't wait to see pics of it installed. How's the paint match for the black? Looks like it's a good match for the matte finish on the tank.

Ran a best of 10.8 that night, I’ve ran a 10.6 before but in cooler weather and better launches. There was a R1 there running low or flat 10’s. Need more practice!

Hey gang, few questions on mods I've seen; hopefully somebody can answer them 1. I like the Rizoma barend mirrors better than CRGs... but do they vibrate at speed? And in addition, do they mount to the stock barend? Looks that way, but just want to know. And glad there's an OEM plug for the holes. Just need to find out if those same plugs fit the passenger footpeg holes. 2. Which option is better to minimize the vibration that leads to tingling: D-Axis Driven grips or Grip Puppies over stock? 3. Want to keep the cat, so I'd only install a slip-on (Akra or Alpha T), but is it worth it? All are straight-thru, so hardly different. If yes, which. 4. Which is the best looking fender eliminator? Saw many, but no mention of brand. The only one I saw specified was the Vagabond, but not impressed with it. I want one that retains stock illumination and looks as OEM as possible (and aluminum, preferably). 5. Which are the best axle/frame sliders on the market? Again, saw only a couple mentioned. Ease of installation and sturdiness would be #1 priority, since basically all look the same, no? 6. Has anybody tried to remove the ugly 'bar' from the stock license plate appendage, and remount on stock holes? I was looking at one, and I'm almost sure the spacing from all 4 bolts looked the same at both ends of that 'bar'. If that's the case, all that was needed (if at all) was small spacers if the appendage doesn't clear the taillight. I'd prefer that over the Vagabond alternative, but wanted to order all the crap before I got the bike. Just curious if anybody tried that. That's all folks. Many thanks.

Vagabond fender kit is a solid piece and you can use the stock lighting. All slip on’s will sound the same if you don’t touch the cat, so if it’s looks you’re after, go ahead. Imo akra looks nicer. Go with woodcraft for frame sliders- sturdy base and replaceable pucks.

Upgraded the brakes to stainless lines, Vesrah pads, and Brembo RCS master. Awesome. Hey, may I ask you how you filled the system (from nipple or reservoir), how you bled it (vacuum or pressure), and if you could get rid of all air bubbles. I'm afraid to mess with the brake lines because in many motorcycles it's almost impossible to get rid of all air in the system, even with a nipple on the MC, like yours (bad line design). And which braided lines you bought? Didn't mention that, and they look nice. And why not Brembo pads if you also got its MC? Just curious. I'm still debating between this bike and a Triumph RS, which has that same RCS M/C but with M50 monoblocks, which are the absolute best you can buy. Must have awesome feel. But yours should be close.

I'm still debating between this bike and a Triumph RS, which has that same RCS M/C but with M50 monoblocks, which are the absolute best you can buy. Must have awesome feel. But yours should be close. I used a syringe and some clear tubing to reverse bleed. Start from either caliper and crack open the other one while you push fluid into the system. When the fluid comes out without bubbles, close off the caliper and open up the master bleeder where more air will come out. This got rid of the majority of the air, then I bled conventionally, first at the master then at either caliper. The lines are Spiegler- got them through our vendor here Stoltec Moto. Great customer service and better prices than I’ve seen on eBay. Vesrah pads because they’re what I’ve used at the track and found to have the most bite. Haven’t experienced fade on these either. M50s are nasty, tried them on a superduke before and not much comes close. That said, if money was not an issue, there are a handful of brembo calipers are even fancier but we’re getting into thousands of dollars for calipers on a street bike haha.

Vagabond fender eliminator and Blaster X sequential taillight. Bought both off Ebay for regular price and installed by watching the Vegabond vid on their product. Easy install, all plug and play. Love the look.

not the best pic, but finally got to install the blocktop belly pan. Looks so much better in person. My bike is still half apart so excuse the chopped off pic lol. I had the winglets painted Dark Gray Metallic like the rest of the pieces I had just recently painted. Wheels are now off and getting prepped for powdercoating, slowly coming together.

I know you had a bunch of pieces painted, but do you have any idea how much it was for just the bits of the belly pan? Mine came in yesterday and the winglets really aren't a great match to the matte black so I'll inevitably be getting those pieces painted the same metallic gray. Just curious so I have a ballpark idea of how much it'll run me.

Just curious so I have a ballpark idea of how much it'll run me. Its hard to say because I had them painted along with everything else, from a buddy of mine. So i'm not sure if his prices really match someone else's - but what you could do is buy paint from colorrite in a aerosol can with clear and paint them yourself if you are up to it. If not you will have to buy the paint, then bring it to a shop to do it and get charged whatever they may charge you. I can't imagine them being that much though...they are pretty small. I'm not really sure why everything for the black version of our bike comes painted in that black color. Yes it matches the tank but it should be painted dark gray, just like on the HVG bikes those pieces are painted gray. Makes no sense to me lol

Hopefully putting on my Top-Block belly pan tonight. First impressions - the matte black paint doesn't match which sucks considering how much it costs (not even including shipping from France). There are whitish flecks in the paint on the belly pan, it sort of gives it the metallic look but very unevenly. Hopefully it looks better (or at least not as noticeable) on the bike. Will be looking at getting bits paint-matched soon. The textured black part (not really visible in the pic) doesn't match anything but it doesn't bug me too much since it's meant to take a bit of a beating from rocks/debris while riding. Was hoping it'd match the texture of the cat shield but it doesn't.
