not a fan of the wheel color, but not a deal breaker. Everything else looks GREAT.
Mainly the headlights compared to the other new MTs

I predict there will be only very few available throughout the year and the demand will be higher than in the past so the dealerships will have a mark up on the bike

Yuck. That headlight missing the chin makes it look like a Speed Triple.

Not sure if this is real or not. This was from a couple years ago and from what I remember it was a turbo MT-09 engine in the MT-10 chassis

Have to say seeing the full size images it looks rotten. That headlight is awful. I see Yamaha have some teaser videos on their Instagram now too. Looks like we will see the official launch in about 22hrs time

Hoping "official launch" will prove me wrong here, but these images scream "entry level" if that were the case with bikes! I'm not seeing some of the styling ques that made the bike unique. Reminds me very much of all the other "lesser" bikes I pass on the road. With the exception of the tail end and the side radiator shrouds, this is without a doubt, a step (or two) backwards IMO.

The new bike is a bit "meh" after the original. I could do without the amazing number of small plastic pieces on the current model, but at least it has real character. I was slightly concerned that having bought my bike in March this year that I might regret that. As I already have the SP and have had a reflash done, the only extra bit I see on the 22 is the Brembo master; not sure I need that, my bike has great anchors already.

Yuck. That headlight missing the chin makes it look like a Speed Triple. I agree. It really kills it for me. The only thing that could save it is some aftermarket mountable "chins", which would be an industry first. Probably only way I'd buy one.

It is absolutely hideous. That tail light looks like the MT07 tail. And it just overall looks like a less aggressive MT10 with none of the cool aesthetics of the older version. The only single positive im seeing as far as looks is, I imagine the air scoops are now functional and not just extra plastic. Glad I didnt wait for this model and instead bought the 2019 Ice Fluo version

Always reminded me of a dragon-fly. I really think that's what Yamaha was going for with this. We could have had this or this But instead we got that derpy lookin thing. Actually makes me appreciate the current model I own alot more. Dont too much care about the TFT dash

I was seriously thinking of trading my 19 for a 22 SP but not with those looks. On the plus side we'll be able to order the factory Brembo mc parts from yamaha soon

I personally kind of like it. It's kind of a 50/50 for me at the moment as a person who has never owned an MT but is looking to purchase this coming year. I think we will need to see some different angles, however. The current mt10 does have angles that are unflattering to my eyes, so maybe this one will have some angles it looks dope from.

Bummer. Not a fan of the new face either. At least we're getting a TFT. Hopefully it grows on me.
