I just saw a couple of pics on Instagram with this Graves R1 exhaust on a MT 10 SP. I want it badly! Those headers are what I want. My Stock Ti R1 headers don't even look like Ti. Those are R1 32/49 tit header , you have to polish and heat them.

Is it just me or does it look like your heel will hit that Austin racing can? Just got mine the other day. And it’s very cold in R.I. Managed to get 17 miles on it Tuesday though. Had to take it out but my heel was hitting stock exhaust a little bit. Obviously I have very short time on the bike so far. Seemed like could be annoying though. Anyone have this issue? No I have not had any issues with my heel contacting the can. Although I do get exhaust on my leg when the foot is on the ground.

Not mine but an example of what can be accomplished if you're willing to put the effort into it.

I'm going to try a small spot on on the header and see if it will oxidize similarly when I get off work. That looks awesome.

I went the cheap easy way. Im happy with the sound FOR NOW ;-) I will add a video of the cured JB weld exhaust sealant but it pretty much sounds the same once it was cures 24 hours. I think I just saved allot of money for other MT10 mods. I have the Puig windscreen in smoke coming this week.

With both the fz10's I've had I did the no slipon just the cat box route, exup re-configured open, BUT I added a little 45 degree slash cut exhaust tip from autozone. Looks odd but it does simulate a little of the oem slipon's exhaust dynamics while also really improving the sound. The only times I ever got conpliments on the exhaust note was with this setup. " JUST like a v8 mustang " or some junk. I wish a free flowing setup could have that unique sound, but it's because of the cat box itself =( I really really like that sound.

Did the same as per my recent post with pics... have a look under "stock can mod" The differences from a stock can is astonishing. Cheers

I have the M4 3/4 exhaust and cat delete, I love the sound it's deep and throaty and doesn't sound droney at highway speeds.

I used to live in haltom city, right next door to A&R motorsports. They have a recore kit for the oem slipons on ebay. They showed me how easy it was. So I recored it myself, found it ear damgingly too loud ( with a decat pipe ofc ) so I took another oem slip on and cut / welded them together to make a long can version. I settled on that set up on my first fz10. Sadly I lost it too when it was stolen.

I follow a guy on Instagram that goes buy mt10_beast that has the blusest exhaust I've seen. He polishes his exhaust with a polishing wheel and then rubs them down with WD-40. He has posts showing him polishing his headers and exhaust. If you don't polish them they will not blue good or maybe at all.

The simple answer is no. The problem is the mt10 rearsets are lower than the R1’s so the exhaust might hit and muffler hanger is in a slightly different position.
