Delkevic!... I didn't expect this much value for the cost but I have to say, as good quality and sound that you can get! Customer support was also great. Love this exhaust... Love this bike too!!... lol.

Is 145HP on a stock US bike? I was under the impression US bikes made 135HP at the crank, but mine said 148 on the MSO, so maybe 135 meant RWHP. Anyway, to close my post on a related note, got the Graves slip-on, and bike sounds fantastic. Much louder and deeper than stock. Wasn't expecting better sound and volume, so very pleased with my purchase. Quality, fit, and finish, are at least at OEM specs (especially with the decal removed ), with an expensive bracket and clamp, rather than a cheap band and springs. The thing was rock solid, even before clamping/bolting the can. And at $435 delivered (Revzilla), it's a great deal, being Ti and C/F. No affiliation; just a happy customer. Here are a couple of pics:

If you were asking me, nope. No changes whatsoever. Remember both the cat and EXUP valve are still there, and the stock can is also straight-thru, and of the same tube diameter, so it's like nothing was changed. Zero backfiring, or any other drawback. Sound is much deeper and satisfying, and looks much better than stock. I honestly only did it because for some reason, the stock can just bothered me; looked out of place IMO. Wasn't expecting the change in sound, so that made me feel less guilty of spending almost 500 bucks just because I didn't like the stock can. Ha ha. Hope this helps.

Here are a couple of pics: Thanks for the heads up...that’s a good price, just ordered one on eBay. Was cheaper than going thru graves and Revzilla not shipping this product to Australia. Total price shipped to Australia, including import charges 540.00 USD. Will post DB results before/after once installed.

Sorry for the delay; was on vacation with my family. Anyway, yes, it was a little bit difficult, since it's a metal decal, and it kept breaking. But just be patient. And don't get scared when you see what appears to be white damage at the edges; it comes off with WD40 and/or polish/cleaner-wax (I used both, in that order). You could heat up the decal a little bit, to soften the glue a bit. If it was vinyl, I'd have done that, but didn't want to make the finish more vulnerable hot. Maybe just a little bit is best. Good luck. Oh, and be prepared to have a hell of a time sliding the damn thing in. Ha ha. Hopefully yours is less tight than mine, but patience is key there too. It took me a freaking hour to get the damn thing all the way in. You might want to spray a little bit of WD40 on both surfaces. I didn't, but didn't know it was going to get so damn hard, and I couldn't remove when I tried, so kept going at it dry. It's there to stay. Ha ha. When I get my seat, will put the stock exhaust (with 8 miles) and stock seat for sale. Won't ever use neither one again. Good luck, and hope you really like the sound. There's no way you won't, but just confirm it. He he. Hope this helps.

There's no way you won't, but just confirm it. He he. Hope this helps. Just saw your post... I used a hair dryer and my credit card but mostly my finger nail. Was pretty easy actually. I made sure to take the decal off before using the exhaust for the first time, for fear of baking it in when the exhaust gets hot. lol @ white edges....like you say it did wipe off easily but having not read your post I did actually fear it was a scratch. I agree it’s a tight fit but nice and snug. It feels more solid than the stock. Mine landed 1-2mm away from where it needed to be. And like you I tried WD40 but to no avail. Ultimately, I just loosened two of the screws further up and changed the shape/angle of the arrangement of brackets that mount foot pegs and exhaust, then slotted the screw for the end-can in, nipped it up and the re-tightened the screws for the foot peg. unfortunately I didn’t notice it came with its own nut so I pried the stock one out from its housing and used that when securing the can.... I’ve gotta extend a big thanks to you elptxjc !! For 2 years now I’ve held off buying an exhaust because of the issues surrounding decats here. I think we have a 1200 Aud fine for being 15db over and then more fines for removing catalytic converters. Not to mention costs associated in going to a decat system, block off plates, DYNO, ETC....Only to go back to stock should you get done by a neighbor, cops or EPA. And then the bloody costs to go back to stock. Previously, i’ve Almost pulled the trigger on Akrapovic and Sc-project shorty slip-ons. Akropovic was too similar to stock note and Sc-project didn’t have theirs in black. Also, SC-projects exhaust(shorty slip on) doesn’t look street legal.... This graves slip-on is ace. Black - tick, looks like a street legal exhaust - tick, easy to install - tick, sounds substantially better than stock - tick And 450 AUD cheaper than the Akro / SC project exhausts in Australia. Perfect all round solution, thumbs up !!

Awesome that you liked it that much. Glad to be of help to my fellow brothers . And yes, those 2 last mm were hell indeed. Ha ha. What I did is motivate the can with the help of my wife, pushing it forward with a large screwdriver levered on the mounting hole every time I was pushing, and it finally worked. I was already thinking doing what you did if it didn't, but glad I didn't have to, because I wouldn't have liked the line that is supposed to line up with the stock pipe exposed. Ha ha. That's why I'm going to sell the stock can; this thing would only come out in pieces. Ha ha. It's hard to believe how nicer it sounds when both are straight-thru. Enjoy it too.

. I want to give a big shoutout and spotlight to MJS Performance, they're domestic here to the USA and real people, I've spoke with them and their midpipes are patented. I'm all about bang for the buck and at $200 I have found no better midpipe. OEM slipon fits perfect. They make 1 bend for both the FZ10 and the R1, with R1 rearsets already on it didn't make any diff to me. I use the OEM R1 slipon as it's baffle ID is bigger that the FZ10's but still keeps it very tame decible-wise. Through back to back butt dyno testing the r1 slipon is way better performance-wise to the FZ's. It's a really cool setup. Full power, low decibles at idle and low rpm but good volume at mid and high. Packaging was satisfactory. Welds are sound. As a stainless fabricator I will comment that there at the Y junction their backing gas coverage could have been better but I'm not bothered. The bungs are welded in about perfect, no melt-through but for a bung with filler metal on top it isn't called for. The alignment with the headers was spot on, and you can see each piece gets individual attention. I like that. Look at that thick pipe gauge. For a street machine I like that. Not the lightest decat but superior for durability. The pipe diameter is also bigger than all the other decats I've seen, even akras. Not even any reduction where it mates with the headers.

Not to splash water on any of our California members, but starting Jan 1 California is supposedly enforcing a loud vehicle enforcement policy. They said this in 2018 as well so take it as you may, but my local friends that work in the local police department have said they are being instructed to enforce it much more then in the past.

Yeah I heard of this. All the more reason to keep the exhaust stock on my MT-10. My 2016 R1 has the Graves EVR but even with the valve mainly closed at low rpm's it's still on the loud side. For the track it's great but it'll probably be ticket bait on the street.

All the more reason just to make the stock look a little different and nicer.
