Didn't see any bad reviews when I was looking but I cheaped out and got the DanMoto link pipe from Amazon and kept my stock muffler. Has the o2 sensor mounts and so no engine lights and it was half the price of any others I looked at. I'll attach some pics once I figure out how to do that

I've been thinking about going the same route. I read from one poster that it was way too loud. I know that is very subjective but I'd appreciate to hear your opinion after you set it up.
Thanks.

If they did an exhaust similar to this for the MT10/FZ10 I'd buy It In a heartbeat.

Full Akrapovič, IMHO the absolute best in show and tone. Remember, your exhaust upgrade will only give you that massive "growl" that we all seek, it will not give you any horse power gain beyond 2 to 3 horsepower on a good day and depending on the environment. After you get the exhaust of your choice then get the ECU flashed. My 17-FZ10 is putting out 155HP at the rear wheel with all the restrictions removed.

We are pretty fond of 2wheeldynoworks around here for ECU tuning. They have some advanced options, and do alot fo support this forum. But happy to hear that you got a good tune too.

IMHO for the Yamaha FZ-10 nothing beats the "Yamaha FZ-10 16-Ackrapovic Racing Line Titanium Full Exhaust System ($1800)".
For $1100+ less I’m going with the Yoshi Alfa T 3/4 exhaust @ $672 that made 152+hp at 2wheeldynoworks.

On a good day you MAY gain 2-3 HP but that's it. You want more horsepower THEN you'll need to flash and re-map your ECU to remove all the OEM restrictions for that. Then have a good performance mechanic dyno and build you a new map for your PCV-EX.

I know that. The 152hp is with 2wdw flash.

Chucked the full Akra system on and back on the dyno and it made 154hp.. After a ECU flashed and a good tune it made 160.09hp.. All runs were done on the same dyno.. So just chucking on the full Akra system and allowing it to breathe it gained almost 9hp..

Tomato | Tomahto - Either way a full Akra exhaust is way sexier than all the other copy-cats IMHO. Plus with my perf guy (who's a fricking genius) did bad-ass for my Roxy. Got her up to 162 mph down the Sunset Strip here in San Diego, Coronado yesterday morning (took ~13s in B-Mode). And if I had about 1/2mi more real estate, I'm certain I could have broke into the 170s mph.
Sorry we're going to just have to agree to disagree. No exhaust upgrade will get you more than 2-3hp on a perfect day, minimal wind and at sea-level.

I have installed the Akrapovic linkage pipe and the slip on exhaust, much lighter, but still too load, does anyone know where to buy an silencer? thanks in advance.
