I am not a fan of GoPro mounts stuck all over the bike. Here are three ways to mount inconspicuously. All three can be used in reverse as well. They give you three perspectives on the ride. The rear mount shows a great view of the rear tire and road when reversed. When faced forward it show great lean angles in corners. If you're a knee dragger you'll love this one. The slider mount give a great view of the front tire if your interested in viewing your 'dank whoolies'. The front mount is the basic and gives a stable view from the riders perspective. OPTIONAL: The front brake reservoir is another great mounting point if you want a record yourself while riding. I suggest using 1080p @ 60 fps at, a minimum, in Superwide or Wide. (really this works great for everything). I also suggest an external microphone under the tail to get the exhaust note and no wind noise. There are many video editing programs that will allow your to picture in picture video. Final Cut Pro X for OSX is my personal favorite. Garmin's free software will also allow you to import .gpx data for HUD displayed data inlayed in the video. (see other HOW TOs in the section) Hero 5 Black or Session 5 are great cameras. The Session 5 is perfect for helmet mount as it limits the wind drag. The Garmin VIRB Ultra 30 is equally as capable and offer built in .gxp data logging. All three of the above require a special OEM audio adapter to record external microphone audio. (Hero 4, 3+, and 3 do not) Sample Video of all three cameras in action: Rear microphone and back camera mount. Hey there: The camera that you have the mic connected to... that's the GP4, right?
