I swapped out my tires last weekend. ...went from the Dunlop Q3s to the Dunlop Roadsmart 3s. ...so far, very promising, but we'll have to see how they wear. No photos, but you ...you know ...they're tires!

Still only have the limited miles, and mostly canyon. ...ride quality is okay; not much different from the Q3s to be honest, but it's also hard to judge how the transitioning from side to side is compared to the Q3s, since those were worn to a significant V when I took them off. lol So far I've only run two sets pf the BT 016, two sets of Q3s, and now the Roadsmarts ...if I hadn't gotten them for free (to test) then I probably would have stuck with the 3s, just because they are so cheap and work well enough. ...I'll have to spoon on a fresh set of Qs next month though, as I'll be going to Buttonwillow for a trackday, and I'll want fresh tires for that. I'll give a report when I've got more miles on them.

Oh, another thing I (almost) did today ...I just got my G2 throttle tamer in the mail. When the replacement grips arrive, I'll install it and see how A & B mode behave. Right now, with the failry stock Flash Tune that my local guy installed, the B mode is still nearly unrideable. If I had it to do over again, I might have given TWDW a shot since they seem to have the FTECU thing down ...but my quick-shifter and auto-blip are tied to this guys system, so I'd lose $900 going elsewhere. ...a serious failure in the FT system is that you don't keep your license when you use a vendor to install the software. ...LAME!!!

As much as I like the Q3's for what they are, they ride like hell on our local roads.

This broke today on my FZ-10 when I was going the speed of sound. Not smart enough to load a pic. Its called a stay and holds everything in front of the handlebars. Windshield came back some and hit the ignition key turning off the engine! Took me a min. to see what had happen and why it died. MadStad 22inch shield, too much pressure? free image hosting ebay

Yes, pictures please. Large windscreens are going to put a lot of force into those mounts and stay...

Installed my G2 Throttle Tamer throttle tube, and some new Driven Racing D-Axis grips. ...easiest install ever. The grips feel great and really look the business on the black FZ, and the throttle tube? ...holy crap what a difference. It has literally transformed the bike. B[east] mode is now quite manageable, A is a peppier version of what standard was, and standard is my new rain mode! Extremely happy with the purchase. Very smooth throttle tube, installed in, maybe 5 minutes. With grip install on both sides the entire job took a total of about 10 minutes start to finish.

Any links to where we can get them?

I got the grips from Revzilla, but they are widely available and come in different colors (the trim rings are anodized aluminum). These are the D-Axis (they make other grips). The throttle tube I got direct from G2's website. Here's a link for the grips. Revzilla

Installed my PipeWerx Exhaust the other day. Sounds incredible! Only thing I was a bit bummed out about was the y pipe for the cat delete did not have smooth transitions on the inside, but i'd suspect most aftermarket exhausts don't take the time to taper those out.
