Anyone tried Woodcraft clip ons? If so, how was the install? Do they fit pretty good or is the clearance to the tank compromised? I looked on YouTube for some reviews, but didn't find any.
Any other clipons out there that look nice?

I plan on getting these soon. I'm just trying to decide between a 1 or 2 inch drop version.

I was going to get 1" riser (which would give you either 2 or 3.25" drop from stock.

Yeah I am starting to lean towards that option as well because of the ability to flip it later if I need to.
If I do the 2" riser it does not appear you can flip it.
I really wish there was someone out there with the 2" riser that could weigh in and let me know if its a decent option.

I've had clipons on my SV that were 4" or more lower than handle bars, so this is not concern for me. It's just the tank and side scoops are massive on this bike so clearance has me concerned. I'm planning on doing some track days this year, and the straight up position of the stock handlebars makes it uncomfortable for all day on the track.
I may just bite the bullet and get these.
Separate thing - what about footpegs on the track? Not sure how soon the footpegs drag.

Whatever the lowest recommendation from stoltec is for the down position is as low as you can go. Switchgear needs to be clocked to give enough clearance between their housings and the tank. Depending on how far your clipon bars are sticking out or in, the clutch cable hits the display in the down position.

It's a reseller of Woodcraft. There are others too.

I've been running the Woodcraft top-plate clip-on kit on my 2018 for just over 3 years. It was one of the first mods I did, and I still consider it among the most effective. It came from Stoltec with the 1" risers and after experimenting with changing these I discovered that this height serves me well for both street and track days. I have an R1 MC and an aftermarket screen and had to juggle the bar length and switchgear in order to get lock-to-lock clearance. Compared to the stock bars, these pull your upper body down slightly (but nothing like that clip-ons of a sportbike) allowing you to weight the front end for a bit more feel. I love it! PS: If you do pull the trigger on this, ensure that you use nice square-end allen drivers. Do NOT use ball-end wrenches, the fasteners that Woodcraft uses are made of fine case-hardened cheese and strip out at the slightest provocation.

Thanks for the picture. I’m gonna run my bars further out like yours. I think it’ll alleviate the whole clutch cable hitting the dash. Right now they’re an inch in.

Can you post some more pics of the bike with these? I cant find pics anywhere and want to pull the trigger on this set up!

I've been looking for a set (mainly for looks, hate the factory silver) but the stock pegs are in a great spot for me, I don't want to raise them up any lol. Hard to find specs from a lot of them as far as +/- from stock position. Gilles I think does but those are pricey

Install wasn’t too bad. You can put the peg in almost the exact same spot as stock with the woodcraft if you want. I have it about an inch higher and back from stock. I’ll get some pics of me on the bike tomorrow I took some with me on it with stock rear sets and bars.

Now that the clip ons have been installed what do you think about the positiioning of them? Too low, too high, just right?
I cannot wait to get mine and install them.

I have only sat on it havn't rode it yet. It puts you in more of a sporty position without being super bike uncomfortable. Definitely a much better riding position. I cant wait to ride it.
