I've been running the Woodcraft top-plate clip-on kit on my 2018 for just over 3 years. It was one of the first mods I did, and I still consider it among the most effective. It came from Stoltec with the 1" risers and after experimenting with changing these I discovered that this height serves me well for both street and track days. I have an R1 MC and an aftermarket screen and had to juggle the bar length and switchgear in order to get lock-to-lock clearance. Compared to the stock bars, these pull your upper body down slightly (but nothing like that clip-ons of a sportbike) allowing you to weight the front end for a bit more feel. I love it! PS: If you do pull the trigger on this, ensure that you use nice square-end allen drivers. Do NOT use ball-end wrenches, the fasteners that Woodcraft uses are made of fine case-hardened cheese and strip out at the slightest provocation.
do you just run stock mirrors with these clip ons?

You can run stock mirrors (I did at first), but I went with CRG Arrows since I installed an R1 MC and there's no threaded mirror mount. I installed them on the Woodcrafts with CRG's mirror mounts; there's no threads in the bar tubes so aftermarket mounts such as Rhinos won't work.

After my last track a few weeks ago I decided I could wait no longer, I cant stand the bar on track!
So I ordered by Woodcraft clipons and they should be here in the next few days.
Will be updating this thread with thoughts and pics.

Now that the clip ons have been installed what do you think about the positiioning of them? Too low, too high, just right? I cannot wait to get mine and install them. I love them. I have only sat on it havn't rode it yet. It puts you in more of a sporty position without being super bike uncomfortable. Definitely a much better riding position. I cant wait to ride it. Keep us posted on the feel and riding position

My clip ons came in a few days ago. I'll install them in a week when I get back from vacation. If you are looking for mirrors I picked these up based off will84's recommendation and I could not be happier. The quality is absolutely outstanding and they stay put no matter the speed! www.amazon.com/KEMIMOTO-Handlebar-Rearview-Motorcycle-Kawasaki/dp/B071S21FV8

So I installed my clip ons yesterday and everything went very smooth. I can post pics but was trying to wait for everything to be completed first. Reason I did not finish is I forgot to buy some dang grip clue and also realized I needed bar ends. So I bought some new grips, grip glue, and the woodcraft weighted bar ends designed for the clip ons. If you guys want to see some pics anyways I will post them up. Things about the install: - Difficulty (1-5 scale) is a 3. Nothing hard but you need to take your time, measure, and be thorough. You will also have to fully bleed the front brakes so that added some time as well.
- Install time for me took about 3 hours but I was taking my time, made a sandwich, watch some youtube when I got stuck, etc...
- I went with the bars in the "up" position. When flipped down I just was not happy with the clearance as it was a little too tight. Even in the up position there is a good drop and I am very happy with the new feel.
- Speaking of clearance I can go full lock to lock and no issues with anything. As the instruction manual stated I did have to rotate the brake line coming out of the master cylinder to keep it from pinching up against the dash when locking fully to the left.
- Quality and craftsmanship is top notch, I feel it is worth the money 100%.
- Bar ends are not threaded and will not accept any type of threaded bar end (and I'm not about to try and add threads). Also the inner diameter of the bar ends is 5/8 meaning the walls of the bars are 1/4 inch thick and very solid.
If you guys want to know anything else just ask away and I'll try my best to answer.

Wanted to update and say just how happy I am with the Woodcraft clipons!
They have completely transformed the feel of this bike for me and I LOVE IT.
I'm getting more feel from my front end now and can make quicker adjustments. When I want to tuck in now my hands dont feel like they are above my head.
They do change the body position and I can definitely feel a little more pressure on my wrists now but its nowhere near close to the pressure from a full on supersport.
I'm glad I did not go with the risers in the down position as it may have been more trouble than its worth trying to get lock to lock clearance.
I did run into a snag yesterday as the official Woodcraft bar ends that are made for the clip ons came in. First they are very high quality and I love the fact you can replace the end caps without having to buy a full end.
With that said their circumference is so big my bar end mirrors wont go on anymore! I need about 1 more mm of width to get them on. Going to spend today trying to figure out a way to get them on without destroying either the mirrors or the bar ends.

What option size of riser are you using? I was thinking about the 1"drop, but if I can use the 1" riser in the up position with clearance, I'll do that.

Hello anyone who's still on this thread! On my 2017 FZ10, I have the woodcraft clip-ons as well as the R1 MC now installed, and I'm getting severe turning limitations with cables on both sides hitting the windscreen and the grey "beautification" plates on the sides of the windscreen. Does anyone know of an option/replacement to purchase, or do I have to mutilate (or remove) the plastics to keep my turning radius? I'm using it for mostly track riding / fun runs nowadays instead of long distance riding.
