I have the Puig touring windshield on mine. It’s not the prettiest thing in the world, don’t get me wrong it’s fit and finish is outstanding, I mean in how it changes the look of the entire bike. Personally I like it but what it does for wind blast at speed is great. The FZ/MT-10 won’t ever be as slippery as a fully faired bike but 20 more whp with a tune and some wind protection makes a huge difference.

Will look into that too. My bike came with and aftermarket windscreen, but I don't really like it. It's black so you cant tuck in behind it and see, so it's just there. Also it's really too short and I hed bad buffeting from it.
So with the tune do you get to keep quickshifter that comes standard on the FZ10 ECU? I really like how smooth it works.

Yes you do. The 2017 bikes like mine actually don’t have the QS on them from factory. That’s a 2018+ thing. With the tune I now have the QS lit up on my dash so it’s enabled. It states at me, taunting me, saying buy the quick shifter you know you want to. And I do want to lol

I actually bought the yamaha QS on my '17 and it was plug and play. I just want to make sure something does not change with the flash and I would lose functionality of it. But sounds like all is OK. BTW, I thought that for street riding QS was just a gimmick, but after getting one, I love that thing. Makes me want to shift all the time . Definitely worth it.

Did a little research along with ya—that’s crank HP and looks like only about 20lb lighter. If we’re talking a straight line it wouldn’t crush an MT-10 but throw some curves in there (what really matters) and I’d imagine it’s closer. My 02 R1 with me on it did 1/4 mile @ 10.2 @142 mph at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown back in the day. I've seen better times from others, but that is the best I could do. Not sure how quick is the FZ/MT10. I will try it at some point for comparison. I don't think I would beat that time because as someone pointed out the aerodynamics come to play here and with similar power it would be no contest.
