This past weekend the strip was deserted and I made 30+ passes on the quarter mile with the FZ-10. While B mode was the most responsive, I found it easier (surprisingly) to get a better time with A and STD. The biggest factor in getting better 60' and subsequent times was keeping the front down. A bit challenging on this bike. Best time was a 10.6.

Very nice.
What was your best trap speed?

Thanks! I'll have to sift through my time slips, I know I trapped 134 when I ran the 10.6.

(Better than I could do) Stiffer rear spring, tune, exhaust weigh reduction and better rear tire and I bet you'd get into the low 10s. You might get into high 9's. Thanks for sharing.

I have an exhaust and ecu flash which helped. I need to lose some weight and see if I can get some better times. I'm around 210 sans gear, and I had to wear a leather suit on the track. Estimating 230-240lbs riding weight?

Estimating 230-240lbs riding weight? When I changed to the Penske rear shock, and had it set to my weight, it greatly reduced the rear squat and helped to control the wheelies under hard acceleration. That was an unintended benefit I got. The real benefit was the handling in the corners.
