Looked at some of the posts but need more help Just test drove the 2019 mt-10 Love it but can’t deal with the bars being so far forward and so low. I noticed Many riser extensions on the web, anybody here recommend a Certain brand for the most adjustment up /down , forward and backward wo having to worry about cable lengths? Any handle bar companies that have a more aggressive backward Rake? My local dealer does not have specs On the stock bars Thanks for your input Paul

I have the Gilles-Tooling risers. The forward/backward adjustability is really nice. The one thing to note is that the pedestal and spacers it comes with only put it at stock height. I ended up finding another set for sale on ebay for half the price (was not specifically for the FZ-10, but had the same spacers). I added two spacers to each side for a total of 4 per side. So I now have my bar adjusted 25mm back and 10mm higher, which is all you can do without worrying about lengthening you front brake line and lengthening or re-routing your right hand switch wiring. I'm 5' 9" with a 32" inseam and this is pretty much perfect for me. I tried to get another set of spacers from Gilles, but they said they didn't recommend going any higher due to the cable lengths, which is obviously not an issue for just adding 10mm.
Another thing to note: The bolts that came with the set I bought on ebay were longer than the ones in the kit specifically for the FZ-10, so I was able to add the 10mm in height. The bolts in the FZ-10 kit will allow you to go 5mm higher, maybe just a tad more, but if you try to go 10mm, the nut may not thread all the way on the bolt before it gets tight.

Do you have any pics of your setup and links to what and where you purchased?

Do you have any pics of your setup and links to what and where you purchased? Sure, here you go. Something else I forgot to mention is that the red color shown on the site does not match the red of the bike, it has more of an orange-ish tint to it. The set I found on ebay were black, so I swapped my red ones out for the black. They used to have an option to order either red or black, but I don't see the option on there anymore. I'm sure you could have them send you the black pieces instead of red, if you wanted. You'll notice the tapered bases, then the 4 spacers per side. The FZ-10 specific kit comes with the tapered bases and enough spacers for 2 per side, which puts the bar at stock height. Each spacer is 5mm. The used kit I found on ebay, was not specifically for the FZ-10, so did not come with the tapered bases and had longer bolts. So, if all you want is to move the bar back toward you, you'll be fine with the FZ-10 specific kit. If you want the bar taller than stock, then you'll have to make/find more spacers, but again, with being all the way back at 25mm, you can only go 10mm higher than stock before you run into front brake hose and right switch wiring length issues. tstindustries.com/gilles-tooling-adjustable-bar-risers-yamaha-fz-10-mt-10-2016.html upload
