New to the forum... I recently bought a 2017 Yamaha fz10. I bought it from a dealership. I looked at the bike everything looked really good on it you know salesman said to me bike was serviced and gone over by their techs with 6500 mile for $9399 before fees 10k after got it trailer home since it January and rode it 6 miles and park it I turned on the hazards on and my dumbass couldn't figure out how to turn them back off so I left the bike on without running and the battery ended up dying after fixing that issue with a battery tender and new battery on order I decided I was gonna do my own service on the bike when I pulled the oil cap off I had a white froth on it indicating moisture in the case then before I proceeded to do the service I decided to check the coolant coolant reservoir has a white milky substance in it and no coolant obviously telling me that there's a head gasket issue or possible cracked head/case Etc call the dealership they said they're going to honor the repairs thank god mainly because Yamaha motor Finance Corp had my back because I called them first has anybody had issues with head gasket problems or head in general thanks for reading God bless

White froth in the oil cap is 100% normal, especially if the engine was only run for a short time and not allowed to fully warm up (you said you only rode it for 6 miles). There's moisture in the crankcase because it's vented. Running it for a few minutes evaporates some of it and it makes the oil frothy and leaves a white film on stuff. Getting it hot and riding it burns it all away. Coolant tank being milky and empty is a different story though. If it was leaking that much that coolant/oil mix was getting into the overflow tank the engine would have seized first. I'd fill the reservoir then wait until the weather warms up and put some good hot miles on it and then check it again.

If you can't figure out how to turn the hazards off after turning them on i would question your technical abilities to do your own work. Second, the symptoms you listed and the reliability of these bikes doesn't necessarily add up to head gasket failure. I think you're in over your head on this machine... Or at least making a big deal about nothing.
