Yeah I use OEM filters and the full synth Yamalube in mine. hopefully I won't need it but I got the full 5 year warranty too. I did my first with it and will be doing ALL of them with it. Gotta be newly purchased though, no idea where you fall for that lol |

Why the sentiment that motor should not be fixed? Seems a straight forward motor unless it grenaded the center cases or took out so many parts a crate motor is cheaper?

Usually the failures on these engines result in broken connecting rods which break apart the engine cases. There's a been a few with no external damage but it's uncommon. |
