Mod note: looks like OP deleted his original post making this the top comment. As a result, decided to lock topic since it also moved into a bickering war about HP.
Source? No mention about the SP coming to US Market?

Source? No mention about the SP coming to US Market? Pm'd you. I didn't see anything related to the SP, 09 or 10. Just the Mt-09 GT.

Yeah if you're referring to the FJ-09's renamed for 2019, the Tracer 900. Then it's already out and I have one.

So black again for 2019? That means my brand new, 0-mile (as of yesterday) 2017 won’t look old now. Ha ha.

Those in the US are missing out. Reduced horsepower, no SP model. I can't understand the logic for such a large market.

Well, why the big secret as to your source? Give us the source, it's not a state secret. Or perhaps you are demanding the FBI do an investigation before you reveal your source.

Am I the only one confused as f***? What’s confusing? The 2019 mt-10 colors for the US market are going to be: Black Gray No more Blue Because you seem to be talking about the 2019 Tracer GT. Which is the renamed FJ-09. So where is your source talking about the 2019 MT-10?

Just heads up, OP did PM me about where he got info from. Didn't necessarily provide proof but sounded credible enough that I think he might have some insider info. For whatever mine or his word is worth.

Those in the US are missing out. Reduced horsepower, no SP model. I can't understand the logic for such a large market. What exactly is the reduced HP? My 2017 MSO (original title from Yamaha) states 148HP, which is almost the reported 150 in Europe. I thought it had 135, for what I read here, but at least for my 2017, doesn't seem to be the case. If anything, we're missing just 2HP. As far as the SP, I also don't understand why manufacturers exclude the US with their nicest models (happens with cars too, with high-performance models). I'm fine with mine, and glad it has 148 instead of 135, and don't need any more than that, so no tunes or messing with the engine at all. Just a Graves slip-on and that's it. And many cosmetic mods, of course .

For whatever mine or his word is worth. i think people are wondering why someone would make a thread w/ a vague assertion, PM one person an explanation, and then leave the assertion generally unsubstantiated when it inevitably results in confusion. it's very much like when when someone posts a vague status asking for prayers because times are tough on facebook but refuses to elaborate when people ask what's going on. If you have private info, keep it private. if you have public info, make it public. so maybe it's true, but it's certainly w/in the realm of possibility that the tracer and mt-10 get different release colors. that was the case this year w/ the mt-09 and mt-10. I personally wouldn't mind it if the blue bikes were less common.

You guys are a whiny bunch. I’m not going to disclose my source because I would like to continue to use it in the future. These colors are confirmed in writing right now for the US 2019 mt-10. I have the mt-09, and mt-09 tracer/gt colors as well as the xsr 900 colors. Seeing as this is the fz/mt 10 board I didn’t post them. The 2019 09 gt tracer is already on the yamaha website anyway. Could there be additional colors or models sure, but these will be here soon.
I posted this to help anyone thinking about buying a 2019 if color matters to them. If you want blue, buy it soon. If you want black, wait a few months. I don’t have details on the gray, but my guess is it’s the same as the current one with flat gray.

Whiny? Don't you think that explanation in your original post would of been helpful, instead of one single vague sentence? Who are you that anyone just believes anything you say and takes it for fact without question? If you expect people to believe a complete stranger, and get your panties in a bunch because people ask questions, maybe teh internetz are not for you?
