I'm a California kid from San Diego and new to FZ10.org Message Board. I've been riding for many years, cruisers, sportbikes and race bikes. I have always gravitated to Yamaha and only veered off once back in '06 when I just had to be the owner of a fully loaded Gixxer-1000. Talk about "road rush".
Been away from the sport for ~7 years until 6/13/17 when I brought home a fully loaded Yamaha '17 FZ-10. I couldn't be a more happy camper.
Enough said. I hope to wander around here on FZ10.org and get back "up to speed" on all the new goodies and technology that I've missed out on over that time and learn as much as I can from the good people here on FZ10.org.

Update:
On Wednesday 6/28 I'll be receiving my new Dynojet PCV and my new Akrapovic FZ-10-17 Racing Line TI-TI-CF full exhaust system - woohoo! Lee's Performance Cycles will be doing the complete install here in San Diego and creating the custom map for me. I might even be able to sit it on some of the Dyno testing which would be great due to the fact that I've only seen YouTube vids of the process.
It's gonna be a good day, but I'll need to be without my new love for 2-3 days. Oh well all good things come by way of virtue and patience.
Only problem I'm faced with now is (I'm letting my machismo hair down) I'm lonely. . .  Now that I'm for the most part all set and siting pretty, I've got nobody to share the joy of riding with. All my good old riding buddies are either not riding anymore, moved out of state, MIA or quite possibly (but hopefully not) dead. Oh well, maybe I'll place an ad at Match.com in search of other lonely riders. %-O
