Just a personal note, I usually hang out at the .Com site and had no idea that this one even existed and actually I am not sure why we have both? It would seem that we are splitting up the possible knowledge of everyone in two? I would have never known of this site if it hadn't been from another member on .Com.
Maybe the moderators or some one esle can enlighten me on the two different sites? I know some forums I am a member of have a .org site in case their main .com site goes down and was curious if that was also the case here?
Thanks!

I dunno, as I created this forum first before they did. We are not affiliated with them. We are USA "rider" owned. Also, I edited your post as the links to their forum that you posted were actually wrong. fz10 . com actually leads to a very questionable website, not their forum. Also, .com and .org don't mean anything anymore in 2017. There are like 2000 "domain extensions" now days. A few differences between us and the .com forum. We also own the worlds largest fz07 forum, and the largest fj-09 forum. Some of those members hang out here too. We are a privately "rider" owned and run on a very secure software platform. I am the owner. They are owned by a corporation named Vertice scope, who also owns Motorcycle.com. They buy forums, we build forums. I spend alot of money on the security of our members login info. last year verticle scope/motorcycle.com got all 45 million of their forum users hacked-http://www.zdnet.com/article/hacker-steals-45-million-accounts-from-hundreds-of-verticalscope-car-tech-sports-forums/ We have more members. We have more posts by alot. We have more threads. We have more tech tips. We have more Vendors and discounts. We have more contests with cool prizes. We help vendors R&D new parts for the FZ-10. Our members have helped develop the very first FZ-10 ECU flash, the very first seat by seat concepts, etc, etc. We won't get you hacked

Also, did you ask them this question, and post links to us on their forum? I won't tell you where to post or hang out. But we hope that you like it here and if you look around, you will see that there is a ton of good info here on fz10.org.

Thank you for the great and detailed explanation! I was under the assumption that the two sites were interelated since I have seen this done before, so I never assumed they were completely separate. I guess I was somewhat confused too since I don't recall seeing this forum until very recently yet I am able to login and have the same username as the other one. I may have just forgot that since I am also a member of the European MT10 site but I really don't venture there often.
Hope everyone has a great and safe weekend!

Never use the same password on multiple websites man. Especially don't use their password here please, as they have a history of getting hacked. People who have their identities stolen are often the people who use the same email and password everywhere that they visit.
