For some reason frame lift stands aren't all that available in the US. The Bursig looks like a great stand but at $550, no thanks. The Abba has limited functionality unless you get a bunch of add-ons which boost the cost and overall its not as clean an approach as the Bursig. I wanted to share my very positive experiences with the Motea ConStand. I've been using this since last season and its quickly become one of my favorite tools And get this...its only $260...shipped! Thats less than half the cost of a Bursig ($550-$600 + $75 shipping) with the same functionality. You can also pick colors other than black without paying $50 extra. Additional adapter plates to fit different bikes are $65-80, depending on the model. $120 for a Bursig plate. www.motea.com/en/Yamaha/MT-10/2017/12387/paddock-stands/central-lift-4008.htmPrices will change (lower) after you create an account/checkout with a US address. It lifts both wheels off the ground and the casters on the ConStand allow you to easily scoot the bike wherever you want. I've torqued the axle nut with the bike on the stand and its definitely stable. Because it lifts the wheels off the ground and unloads the suspension it came in really handy for the shock swap I did today. Its great for tire changes. Work on the topside of the bike is a little easier because it raises the bike up about 6". I don't want to come off sounding like I'm crapping all over the Bursig. I've never used one but I'm sure they make a fine product. Its just that the ConStand does everything Bursig claims theirs will do, but at half the cost.

I picked up one of these and received it yesterday. The instructions make it seem like the adapter plate needs to be mounted on the bike?? Is this the case and if so, do you keep the plate on or remove it each time? TIA

The plate will bolt to the stand and stay on the stand. You will remove the upper engine mount bolt in the frame and install that bushing on the bike. I had to reverse the direction of that bolt because the nut was on the chain-side. Once you reverse the bolt, install the bushing under the head of that bolt and re-tighten the nut on the brake (RH) side.
Also, put some grease on the pins or inside the bushing you install so it slides on and off easily. You will use the small 13mm bolt that goes in the side of the adapter to get the tilt of the two pins to locate in the frame correctly. Once you get that, then you can tighten the bolts down snug.
The stand works fine, I just wasn't comfortable pulling the stand off and balancing the bike at the same time. I really like the value of the stand and the idea of moving the bike around the garage so easily.

Another good lift is if you need to lift your bike up further, i have one because a table lift takes up to much room, the eazy rizer is a well made lift .... In the video it looks like it takes a lot to attach the fixings to use the lift, but once you have set the clamps the fist time re-attaching is a breeze.
Constand make quality products, i have a paddock rear stand and a front wheel grab which are very sturdy.

I had the Bursig stand before this posting but based on your review and pictures I just purchased this stand in Red color for my friends Ducati Monster 1200. Got a quote from MaxMoto for a Bursig stand in black, for 500 shipped. A good deal but still 150 more than this stand and in a color of choice. The Bursig doesn't fold up and only has 2 lift levels. Not sure that's that big of a difference but it's considerably less expensive.

Awesome jpwarrior ! My 10 has been off the ground on this stand all winter I was also able to scoot it around easily to make room for a project area in my garage. I hope you like it when it comes in!
