I am glad you chimed in, I wondered how it compared to the other systems. I went from stock to this with the Graves tune designed for it and it was a dramatic improvement in power all across the band.

Looks and sound are about equally important to me. Raw power gains don't interest me much. I love carbon fiber and titanium. osiris10012 I had reservations about the conical profile of the Yoshi Alpha T. I really like the deep signature tone of the Yoshis and I've always wanted one so I fit a non-conical Alpha for the 2015+ R1 to my 10 I absolutely love it! fz10.org/post/5261/thread

I do love the Austin racing system. Have you road it without earplugs? Curious how loud it is with out them? Never rode without earplugs but one time my earplugs weren't quite in correctly and I could just hear the exhaust sound echo in the city because of the sound bouncing off the buildings so it's very loud. As you are riding you will occasionally get pedestrians look around to see whats coming. My friends tell me that when we are riding on the highway, my bike is all they can hear 😄. One of my friends has a FZ-07 with a full Yoshimura system and my bike just completely drowns out his sound. Definitely sounds like the Austin system may be a bit to loud for my liking. Bet it sounds awesome but I am trying to avoid a super loud system for multiple reasons. Haha Nevermind. Just looked into the graves system and realized the one I was originally looking at wasn't the evr system. Hence the huge muffler. Thanks for info. How is the graves system volume wise? Here is a clip http://instagr.am/p/BTuS4GHjmKl Thanks for the video. Never thought to look on instagram I love Yoshimura exhausts for the deep growl and I had them on my 2008 FZ1 and 2014 CB1000R...so I am biased Went with the Yoshimura Alpha T 3/4 Stainless Steel system w/Graves Block Off plates. Nels installed it, flashed the ECU and ran it on the Dyno. It's spitting out 152.5HP...I believe it's the second highest he's seen after the Graves Full System which costs almost 3 times of what I spent. IMO, end of the day, it comes down to personal preference. Best of luck! Glad to hear you had such positive results. Did you notice any low end power change after the exhaust install? I'm assuming with the flash it wouldn't be something very noticeable. Also what kind of volume level do you feel the yosh is at? The alpha system is starting to become my number one choice. Thanks for the info. Always nice to hear from someone that has had multiple systems. I really like the evr system but can't get over how expensive it is. I believe you get what you pay for but man is that a lot of money. How were the other systems with low end compared to stock? Did they have a noticeable loss or was it just noticeable compared to the evr system? Looks and sound are about equally important to me. Raw power gains don't interest me much. osiris10012 - the muffler attachment of the R1 is higher than on the FZ10 so the OEM attachment bracket will not work. I used some aluminum spacers to move the muffler mount under the bike down by about 1/4". I also made a muffler hanger out of aluminum flat stock and attached it to the passenger peg mounts. The link to my build thread has pics and description

Haven't seen much on the Remus system. I'll have to check it out.

Remus video: Although the video doesn't do the sound justice, it sounds much deeper & louder in person.

<Using non-standard quote method since the site's acting funky with me> Osiris10012 "Glad to hear you had such positive results. Did you notice any low end power change after the exhaust install? There is definitely a change in low end power and the acceleration across multiple gears/RPMs is brutal As for db level - I wear a Shoei GT-Air Wanderer that does a good job of keeping the sound at a tolerable level for me. Note - I haven't installed the DB killer on the exhaust intentionally since I want drivers around me to hear me My cousin has a 2016 R1 and he was sitting on the fence w.r.t. the exhaust decision. He drove over, fired up the FZ-10 and five seconds later said...that's exactly what I want! BTW, Tom Stokes from WWW.BIOHAZARDCYCLES.COM gave me a fantastic deal for $649 incl. tax and shipping. My cousin just got his from Tom as well.

One thing that makes it hard on deciding what I like. <Using non-standard quote method since the site's acting funky with me> Osiris10012 "Glad to hear you had such positive results. Sounds like the yosh is what I'm looking for. Definitely considering this set up.

Honestly, I usually call Nels at two wheel dyno works and ask which exhaust makes the most HP for whatever I bike I own at that time. Then I send him my ecu and have him build a tune around that exhaust and bike.

Please advise how to get in touch with Nels a 2 Wheel Dyno Works. I understand he sells exhaust systems and flashed the ecu accordingly. Lots of choices so would like his advice and pricing.

Sound and aesthetics are important to me and I love Carbon Fiber, but budget is also a major factor so at first I got the Delkevic 14" carbon. It sounded really nice and seemed to boost the mid range a bit but I wanted a better looking and better built exhaust before getting it mapped, I've always liked the sound of LeoVince exhausts so when they released the -10 fitment I had to get saving. It sounds tougher, more of a base tone with no rasp at all and I love the look of it. The De-cat was used and came with an AIS block off kit (Smog plates), the previous owner had it ceramic coated so I might get the headers done over winter to match.

But here ya goAddress: 13631 NE 126th Pl #420, Kirkland, WA 98034 Hours: Closed now Phone: (425) 269-5332 BE sure to tell them you are a member here for the discount! And their price includes free tune changes as long as you own the bike, in case you change exhaust or intake or anything. Best tuner there is! He is at a racetrack this weekend and will probably dyno 20-30 bikes Saturday alone!
