New to the forum but not new to riding. I have only bought one other new bike and that was 26 years ago on my 22 birthday. It was a Yamaha Seca II. It was my third bike. Since that time I have had many, many motorcycles including 2 gen 1 and 1 gen 2 FZ-1s.
I purchased my earlier this week and am waiting for the weather to clear up to get some riding in. Boy is it hard to get through the break in period and not ride it too hard. My first impression of the bike came while riding at a demo event at a rally in Ocean City MD. Man was that fun. My next impression since buying the bike is that seat has got to be changed. Otherwise it feels great. Here's hoping for good weather on this long weekend and lots of miles.

I had a 1995 Seca II (yellow) that I rode in CA when I was on a project in SF area, nice bike but it was a cold blooded beast. It would buck and shake for about three miles before smoothing out, that was just the nature of that bike. Modern fuel injection certainly beats carburetors.
Welcome to the club.
