High MPG is great but its not a whole lot of fun. Lets go the other way! Post up your absolute worst average mileage on a tank. What were you doing, how is your bike set up? Pics of the dash readout would be great if you can get it. 29.2mpg after my commute to and back yesterday. I'm working on 29.0 right now doing the same thing but I just fueled up. I've got tight curvy roads on my 30mi route and I really don't get up past 70. Mine should be easy to beat  2WDW flash, Yoshi 3/4 exhaust, BMC filter. |

Don't have any horror stories but I do notice that the mpg calculation on the gauge cluster is very optimistic. If it shows me getting 39 mpg on a casual trip and then I calculate the true mpg (miles ridden divided be actual gallons put in the tank to fill it up) I'll get about 2 mpg less, it has been consistent since I've had the bike.
