Hope everyone is doing alright! I rode to and from work today and did some night riding to finish off the day.
While riding around I realized I need to replace my clear and tinted visor just after one year (I ride all year if it's above 32°). I have the Icon Airframe Pro Construct and it seems I only get 1 full year of Icon visors before knicks and scratches are obvious in my vision (helmet is rarely in air bubble).
I was curious if others get around a full year or more/less?

Hell, I go thru 4-5 dirtbike helmet visors per year. In fact I buy 2-3 at a time to always have a couple on hand.

I've never replaced a visor. But I clean it with wet towel and microfiber towel after each ride, and about every third ride I'll spray the visor and helmet down with Plexus and polish with a microfiber cloth. Never any issues.

Never any issues. evitzee I will have to give Plexus a shot, to see how much it helps on polishing the plastic. Interested to see if it will affect the foil lining on my gold visor. I expect to replace it anyways, so if it does work, it saved me some money!

When you clean bugs off your visor try wetting a paper towel w glass cleaner or water and placing it over the visor for a few minutes to wet the bugs. You want them to wipe off easily with no scrubbing so you don't scratch up the surface.
I usually get two or three years out of a visor.

I'va had the same Bell photochromic visor for the past 3 years. I always keep it clean, using a hot wet towel that i let sit on the helmet to soften and remove the bugs. I also wax the visor using turtle wax...

I've used it for years on helmets, windscreens, tint on car windows, any plastic or painted plastic surfaces. You'll be surprised what it does. Clean your surface first as best you can and run your hand over the surface, then spray on the Plexus and wipe with clean microfiber and run your hand over it again. You will feel a different surface that is ultra smooth. Any bike shop has it on the shelf, give it a try.
I've used it previously on a silver mirror face shield with absolutely no issues.

I appreciate the information everyone! I'll see if I can source it locally, I noticed it was around $32 or so on Amazon.
