What's up everyone? My name's Matt and I've been riding just about as long as I can remember. Dirt bikes growing up, street bikes once I was out of my parents' house (since it was forbidden there lol). Mostly I've had sport bikes and a couple of street fighters, but a few cruisers tossed in as well. Right now I have a Fat Boy Lo and it's nice for cruising around, but I've been finding myself spending more time on the Superhawk that I picked up last fall so I've decided to sell the Lo and get an FZ-10! I turn 40 this July and a nice FZ sounds like a good birthday present to myself! Just keeping my eye on this forum until my Fat Boy Lo sells so I can pick up an Armor Gray FZ-10 and join in on the fun. Pics of current bikes:

Hey Matt (mother), welcome to the forum. get the -10, you'll love it. the SuperHawk is a great bike, but will probably see less seat time once you get the -10...
regards, Tony

Yeah, once I get the -10 the SuperHawk will most likely go on the market and I'll be back to living the one bike life.

I had a Fatboy lo too before I switch it for a -10. I don't miss the Harley at all.

Well, the Harley hasn't been selling and I'm an impatient bastard, so it's getting traded in this coming weekend on the FZ-10.
I've already ordered a vagabond fender eliminator, bar end mirrors and Akrapovic slip-on. Can't wait!

Welcome Matt. (It doesn't seem right to type "welcome Matt")
You're going to love the FZ-10. The SuperHawk might not get attention for a while. Great bike though. In 1992 I bought a brand new, zero miles 1990 Hawk GT (NT650 in the rest of the world.). It sat in the dealer showroom for two years. I bought it for 60% of MSRP. I loved that bike. It was way under powered until I threw every part TBR made at it. This bike is the bike that brought TBR into the roadracing world. After the mods, it shook like a paint shaker, but was damn quick and sub 400lbs. Way ahead of its time. I always said I'd buy a 1000cc version if they made one. Then they made the faired SuperHawk instead. I didn't bite, but rode one a few years later. Nice bike.
By the way. I kept my Softail Slim S and sold my BMW R1200GSW for the FZ-10. I love having two bikes and I'm happy they are so different.

Yeah, it's fun having two different styles of bikes just to be able to switch it up. It sure takes up a bit more garage space though. Nearly twice as much!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the awesome choice. You'll love it. I made the mistake of test riding the FZ-10 when I had given my 2014 CB1000R for service. Ended up trading it for the FZ-10. Rest is history Have fun and ride safe!
