Does anyone know the oil plug dimensions/thread size? I'd like to use a stahblus quick drain system but I can't find the plug dimensions anywhere...

Its a M14x1.5 I'm using a Gold Plug, Part No MP-02. You may want to look into overall length once installed. The drain plug is at the bottom of the pan, facing down. It looks like the Stahlbus is kind of long which would provide additional leverage against the aluminum pan in an impact. Sportbikes hate speedbumps...the pipes on my FZ1 prove it!

I didn't even think about clearance! I'll pick up a stahlbus plug and put up some pics here, if it looks sketchy I'll probably take it back off. Appreciate the info

Appreciate the info Did that stahlbus plug work out ok? My bad, been pretty occupied lately. It certainly seems fine so far, no leaking or issues, it does stick down about a quarter inch below the headers though I'd say.. Still looks to have plenty of clearance. I'll measure and take pics this weekend for you guys

ibb.co/c1dzEkThere's about 5 1/2 to 6" clearance (couldn't find a tape measure at a buddies house..) The plug cap sticks about a half inch below the headers.

Smanz, thanks for providing that information. I ordered the Gold Plug off of Amazon to replace that stock crappy one.
