If any of you have been waiting to pull the trigger on swapping stainless headers for titanium, there's four 2015+ R1 headers on eBay right now. 2015 R1 Header eBaySome tips on buying these; Read the description and check the pics carefully for any dents. Look closely at seller feedback. Reputable sellers won't have comments about damage not shown in pics, etc. I wouldn't worry too much about the finish. Yours will end up looking the same with miles and it can be polished a bit before installation. Make sure the pipe isn't coming of an R1S, which will be stainless. One pipe in the listing now is off an R1S and priced accordingly. Stainless header is 6.5lbs  Ti is 4.1   |

I think I might pick one up in the future. Only thing is I'm in Canada so theres a big jump in price due to currency, shipping and possible duty fees. And I've already spent too much money on my bike this year 😅

Not that I am aware of. They appear to be dimensionally identical with only material difference but I didn't take calipers to them.

There is also this one Titanium?If you aren't in a rush, EDR Performance will post the titanium models on a regular basis sometimes. They usually sell them for pretty cheap too. |

guywithfz10The first listing looks like steel to me but the part number is for the titanium header. If you're thinking about this one I would recommend that you ask the seller and include the part number from his listing and that you know that part number is for the titanium header from the R1/R1M and want to confirm. The response you receive before purchase will help with dispute resolution if it ends up being a steel header.

EDR Perfomance posted on their Facebook/Instragram that they were getting ready to tear down a zero mile R1. I contacted them via messenger and they sold me the titanium headers off the brand new bike for $180 shipped.

dexter if you're looking at doing brake upgrades maybe ask them about the master and calipers too
