When you ride the FZ-10 like how it wants to be ridden, using the gears less and more of the engine's power band, it's just magical. I'm not sure if I can go back to a traditional I4 engine bike after experiencing the sexplane crankshaft engine.

Im wondering what they will think the SP stacks up to. Im digging around to see if I can find exact sales numbers on each bike, I think that would be a better judge.

I totally get the MT-10 walking away with this contest. Too bad they didn't include the Superduke and Tuono V4. I think the only real competition the -10 has is the Aprilia. And we all know where availability of service and parts would put the -10. Best model, hands down.

If cost wasn't a factor, the S1000R is the best of the three bikes, but the value for the money alone makes the FZ-10 the best of the three. The S1000R is almost too refined. It's like comparing a Porsche to a Corvette in the car world.
I will say that I think the Z1000 looks the best. $1300 for a 4-2-1 full exhaust ain't bad either for the Z and shaves an instant 21 pounds from the bike. That's huge. You can get '14s and '15s between $7500-$9000 on Cycle Trader.
There are really just too many good options with motorcycles over the last few years.
