So here's my first post. After the 600 mi. break in how hard did you run your bike. Did you wait for the recommended 1000 mi. before you really started to have fun?

I ran it as hard as I wanted to for the road conditions.

I rode it just like i would if it had 100,000 miles. I'm a strong believer of not running engines in slow, due to past experiences when i was racing

The manual specifies rpm limits being for "prolonged" periods.
Fluctuate speed, fluctuate gears and don't hold it at redline or take it beyond. Think of all the test rides you've watched on youtube and ride it the same way. I did not baby mine and it runs great using no measurable oil at all. Enjoy it and it will be fine.

Most important part of breakin is the first 20 mile. 2nd most important is the remaining 580 miles.
Dont ride a new bike at constant rpm. Rev up, rev down. Rev up, rev down as much as possible. Seat thos erings properly, condition those cylinders the right way.
And frequency of oil change is far more important than brand of oil. Run clean and properly fit air filters.
