Flats are always a PITA !!! How did you get wind in the tire? Did you have a repair kit with you? Or have to call for a tow?

Well I had a nice lady decide to not pay attention and weave off to the right shoulder. This kicks up a large rock and it pelts my front right rotor. One warped rotor later I limp my bike to the dealer with no front break. New rotor going in.

Not a good day for the 10s. $200 for a new back tire and I'm sure your rotor was pricy. Glad you weren't hurt.

I didn't see it at first and new something was wrong after I couldn't use front brake. Luckily I didn't need to make a panic stop. 290 installed Brake would keep pressure stopped but loose it moving. I have a new piece of garage wall art.   |

Sucks. Once again glad you weren't hurt. Bikes without brakes are bad. Rear was fine. Glad we don't have linked brakes. You too, flats suck at speed. I hate that rear wheel feeling as they deflate. |

I carry one of these compact foot pumps and a plug kit in my tail bag. Its come in handy twice so far  www.webbikeworld.com/r2/air-pump/air-pump.htmThere's less labor intensive solutions like 12V powered pumps or CO2 cartridge pumps but I've found that when you're in a bind, simple is better. |
