After putting on axle sliders and frame sliders I figured I'd complete the safety items and install engine case sliders. I saw the SW-Motech design on Revzilla a couple of months ago but they were out of stock. Then last week I got an email that they were now available, got them Friday and installed them over the weekend. Like all SW-Motech stuff they are beautifully designed and manufactured, satin finished anodized aluminum for the holders and thick black anodized aluminum sliding pucks. Total weight is about 8 oz.
Installation is very easy, install the pucks with the recessed screws from the back (use blue threadlocker), then simply remove the three engine bolts with a 5mm hex bit, coat the new included SS bolts with blue threadlocker, and reinstall with the 5mm bit torqued to about 7 ft-lbs. Done, about a 20 minute job. I like the look, it goes with the bike and doesn't look like it is an added on piece. Hopefully I'll never need to use them. BTW, a set of the SW-Motech sliders is about 25% less than the equivalent Woodcraft items.

Hi Evitzee - What brand are the frame and fork sliders on your bike? Thanks! SW-MOTECH frame sliders (I like the edgy styling) and Woodcraft axle sliders (functionality).
