I bought the DMP integrated taillight. I can’t get the blinkers to blink. I’ve been on the phone with DMP multiple times and they can’t figure it out, even sent me a replacement and I had the same problem. Anyone else having his problem? Do I need to change the relay, and if so where is it located ?

Otherwise if they do work then sounds like a pin out issue, the rears only have two wires so should be easy the test. -Tom

Yes I connected the OEM blinkers and they still work. Pin out? making sure the correct wires go to the correct pins in the connector but there are only two in the rear blinkers so should be pretty easy to tell, did they come with OEM connectors or did you have to connect those? If it was a load issue they should at least light up, do the fronts flash when you have the new one connected? If not I would be concerned there was a wiring issue... IDK, it is pretty straight forward, assuming the tail and brake light work, did you mount it, could it be a ground issue? Can you put a meter on it while it is hooked up and check for voltage with flasher on?

Can you put a meter on it while it is hooked up and check for voltage with flasher on? DMP says it’s most likely a load issue. Ground is fine because the brake light works and I can connect the blinkers to the battery directly and they light up. Meter is reading 12’s when the fronts flash. The fronts flash quickly when the rears are NOT connected. When I connect the rears the blink slows down but doesn’t light up.

Did you splice in to the OEM harness in front of the resistor packs or behind it? I am pretty sure the OEM blinker harness has resistors so if the new ones have internal resistors could be too much load? Just a thought

Sent back the DMP one and ordered the Blaster x. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with them

I love that you have the option of clear or smoked, it has 36 LEDS (blaster has 32), and it has sequential signals. The sequential signaling makes it a bit more polished IMHO. Its also cheaper than the blaster. Nothing against the blaster as I know its a great tail as well, but have to praise the MotoDynamic piece.

I had a flush mount signal giving me problems and they had another one at my door in 3 days. From California to Kentucky in 3 days...for free.

Nothing like getting something in two days when its coming from CA.
