I put the Yosh fender eliminator on today. I watched the Vagabond video on how to get the old unit off, no issues. But I had a little problem getting the turn signals off the OEM bracket, they sure didn't want to snap out like the video showed. But with a flat bladed screwdriver I got them wedged off. But I had a hell of a time getting them on the Yosh bracket. No matter how much I twisted and pushed (and cursed) they just weren't going to go on easily. I finally broke out the petroleum jelly and my wife's hair dryer, and that seemed to help a lot but it still took some work with a screwdriver to wedge the turn signal boot through the hole, but in the end I finally got them through and anchored down. Maybe with experience it would go quicker. I used PosiLock connectors for the license plate light, put it all together and put it on the bike with no problems. It does look great, completely OEM in the look and you still use the OEM spring loaded lock cover. The overall design is a bit complicated with the various pieces and the license plate needed to stich it all together (5 pieces total compared to 1 with the Vagabond unit), but it is a well engineered product. So why with the great product you get lousy printed instructions? Absolutely terrible, if you didn't have the video there would be a lot of holes in the installation process. Anyway I'm very satisfied with the product.

Where Kawi grommets are soft rubber Yam's is really hard. It was a bitch to get them off and after 2hrs of trying I failed to get them on the Yosh so I drove over to my mechanic's and he used a special tool and got both signals attached, took him about 5 min. But this issue isn't on Yosh, it's on Yam for making those rubber pieces so hard.
