just got my fz10, hittin the canyons tomorrow with my usual guys (we ride hard). What tire pressures (cold) are you guys running on the Bridgestones that come on the bike? (and I don't mean the over-inflated pressures the yamaha manual lists). I'm more interested in maximum grip, don't care about tire life. thnx

If you are familiar with San Diego, most all riders meet in East Lake then head out Otay Lakes Rd. (Tellegraph Canyon Rd) to Hwy 94, we continue out 94 East past the Tecate turnoff and continue all the way out to the end of 94 by small town called boulevard, gas up, double back and stop off at Cafe 94 for breakfast, then continue back to East Lake. We go through sections that are dubbed "the playground" this is a video I shot on my H2 running with my group in that section of 94

I'm running 34 rear and 30 in the front. thank you. your front sounds about right but I would have thought the rear would be less. anyone else that runs hard?

One of the guys suggested 34 front, 36 rear and I can say from experience that it's amazing. Try them both. Also, I run nitrogen in mine so that may be a factor for stability in pressure.
