Hello everyone! I have been checking these forums out for a couple months now and finally signed up. I don't have a FZ-10 yet. Currently I have a Honda CB1000R which is a fun motorcycle, but my heart has been set on the FZ-10. I have wanted one since it was announced, but I haven't been able to pick one up. There is a dealership nearby that is selling them for $11,999 so I'm going to try reserving one (none in stock), hopefully this weekend!! I can't wait to ride one of these!!!

Welcome from West Bend. Great price $1000 less than I paid back in July.
We've seen owners of just about everything trade in on a new -10 and are very happy with the change. I went from an FZ-09 to my -10 and love it.
Good luck with your purchase. Great bike!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!! I truly can't wait for riding season and bringing home the FZ-10! Though I can't really complain about this winter, it really needs to end!

Yeah. Six inches of new snow kinda sucks. I almost broke out my snowshoes to walk the dog.

That's crazy how much more snow you got there. We only got about an inch of snow in Milwaukee, mostly melted now. It's been quite a strange winter this year. A bunch of snow in December with two storms and only a couple of inches the rest of the winter. Never thought I'd be riding my motorcycle in February haha!!

The long wait is finally over!! I picked up my black FZ-10 on Tuesday! My first few rides on it were great and besides the seat, feels so much better than my last bike! I'll post some pics soon.

Congratulations!
Lots of great things on that bike that you'll love. Build quality, power, cruise control, etc.
Let us know when you're ready to do any mods and you'll get lots of ideas. A very inexpensive and super easy one are brake pads. Factory pads work okay, but become fantastic when reprlaced with EBC HH Sintered pads. Two sets for the front and one set for the rear. Total cost around $75. Maximum time to switch all three under 1/2 hour. Ride with originals for a short time, then do this. You won't believe the difference. You can also do braided lines and master cylinder, but I never went beyond the simple pad change. Unless you're racing it on the track, pads will provide excellent results. Honestly, that's the first investment I would make.
Enjoy and keep us updated.
Some pinstriping I did.

tigershark, how's the brake dust with the HH's? cleaning the neon yellow wheels is a PITA!

I've only had black wheels, so I'm not sure. I would think chain lube fling would be way more. I just changed out my rear on the Triumph and had fronts waiting on my front step when I got home. I'll swap those out tomorrow. The brake pedal bedded in by the second rapid slow down kicking in ABS. The rear is much more solid feeling now.
