This may be a stupid question but is 5 horsepower a noticeable difference on a motorcycle since it's a smaller engine? Considering that I am looking at exhausts.

Only in our minds. Going from a 10 hp bike to 15 hp would be close to nothing. On the FZ, the effect would be far less. Strictly bragging rights. Even weight reductions don't do much unless they're major percentages.

Just decide based on the aesthetics.

I like my stock muffler a lot, but the two major differences I would focus on with any replacement would be sound and looks. Most people go for sound first. Ultimately it's about what you like most. I don't believe any change with the exhaust would do much for performance. That's what the ecu reflash can do. Not much else.
Personally, I haven't seen any that I feel look as good as the original.
This is where Bogie is supposed to come in again with "blasphemy".

I think the yoshi looks nice because I feel it has that little futuristic look to it, but the graves looks good because it's black. I've seen video on both they both sounds very similar.

Only one looks good to me but not enough to spend the money right now. That would be the Akrapovic like on Zenmoto's bike. I am good with the stock exhaust for now.

Performance mods on these bikes tend to be overkill but guys gotta' do what guys gotta' do. Stock the bike puts out an honest 130 hp, so fully fueled and with a 200 lb rider on board the power ratio is about 0.2 hp/lb. Compare this with a top line Corvette Z06 with 650 hp, curb wt of 3524 lb. With a 200 lb driver the ratio is about 0.17 hp/lb, so pretty close to an FZ-10. Now they are completely different in the way they lay that power down but these kinds of vehicles are at the top end of sanity for STREET use. You can always squeeze more hp out but for what PRACTICAL reason? It's for bragging rights and just to do it. Which is why I tend just to do cosmetic stuff, some crash protection, etc., but more hp, no thanks, don't need it. Box stock these vehicles are so capable they are WAY over what an average rider can use and exploit. If you want to really increase the performance get some professional training and track time, that will be worth far more than wringing out another 20+ hp and doing a bunch of performance mods. I have no problem with what riders are doing to get more performance but it isn't really needed.
I think the FZ-10's titanium muffler looks and sounds great compared to most systems. I like the way it sounds along with the cross plane engine, I see no need to change it. You won't save any meaningful weight nor gain much usable hp. It is purely cosmetic imo.

I am more into the physical look then the what it can actual do. I am liking the look of the Yoshi pipe more.

I wanted mine to "be all it could be", so after riding it home from the dealership, I went to modding. I removed the stock exhaust can and catalytic converter, the EXUP servo motor and cables. On went a Graves 3/4 system in its place. That allowed me to remove the O2 sensors. Also installed the Graves block off plates thereby eliminating the hoses and servo motor involved. The passenger pegs went and so did the stock rear fender, replaced by a Vagabond Motorsports fender eliminator kit (very nice BTW, especially for $69.00). Lastly, I installed an Antigravity battery, saving further weight. The stock battery went into my son's 3 year old FZ-09, so no waste there as his was due for replacement. The big piece of the puzzle was sending the ECU off to Nels at 2wheeldyno works. All back together and I will tell you that unquestionably, the $$ were worth every penny. This bike absolutely rocks now. The weight savings results in more "flickability" and the power curve...well let's just say the difference, even in the low range, is pronounced. BTW, according to Nels, the Graves performs equally well with the baffle in or out, so mine is in. The sound is great. I can hear that cross plane four at work, but in no way can it be called loud. No ears ringing after a long ride.
No question, the mighty FZ is great as delivered, but hamstrung. Now it is unleashed without in any way affecting its usability.

Suspension helps makes you a faster rider, not HP.
But, which Yosh are you looking at?

This may be a stupid question but is 5 horsepower a noticeable difference on a motorcycle since it's a smaller engine? Considering that I am looking at exhausts. Exhausts generally not going to give you more HP feeling while riding. They will give you a better exhaust note based on your ear. An ECU tune will give you a noticeable increase in HP/TQ and the way the tune delivers it throughout the curve. After the ECU tune the additional modification to the exhaust system give very little noticeable increases in HP/TQ. The weight reduction is probably the biggest gain past aesthetics. IMHO the bike does not need any modifications stock, past an adjusted suspension. The bike does respond well to ECU tuning and the exhaust note is better (IMHO) with a slip on of your choice. From a purely financial point, modifying motored vehicles is always a money pit as you rarely get your money back out of the modifications. From a 'fun factor', I enjoy every dime I spend. But to each his own.

Although I agree with evitzee completely, especially the training/track-time bit. I modified mine anyway. 0002s said it best. I enjoyed every dime I spent. A couple of points. A Slip-on alone does almost nothing in terms of performance. +/- 1 HP. Some of them sound nice, but the sound is sort of an F1 or MotoGP higher pitched scream. Removing the catalytic converter has POTENTIAL to give you 5 - 8 HP depending on the muffler. However, some sort of fuel tune is best (not required, but best) because the less restrictive exhaust will create a leaner combustion, that creates heat, that robs HP. The net gain with only a cat delete and no tune will be less than 5 HP. On the other hand, the ECU flash in combination with a cat delete substantially improves acceleration and low to mid RPM throttle control. The power delivery is also smoother through the rev range. The stock bike is very capable and smooth, but the flashed improvements are very noticeable. The roughly 15-18 lbs of weight reduction combined with 15-20 more HP aids in exit speed, which translates to higher speeds on the straight sections, leading to my desire for the brake pad upgrades in the tech section. At the end of the day, a slip-on or a cat delete is not the most cost effective performance mod. As @cruizin said, suspension will buy corner speed at a much greater value to a lap-time.
