I just finished installing the Knight Designs footpegs on my bike 2 hours ago. Easy job, probably 30 minutes even including lowering the rear brake & shifter. They're well made, and look OEM.
@ 1 inch lower, the rear brake lever is lowered as far as it'll go without triggering the brake light. I may tweak the switch spring to allow a bit more downward movement, if necessary.
Just sitting on the bike in the garage, I can feel a big difference in comfort. I haven't had a chance to ride with them yet; will post again tomorrow.

Here are a few pics comparing the OEM pegs to Knight's. About 1 inch lower, 1 inch longer, twice as wide, and obviously I got the rubber treads. Ground clearance shouldn't be affected much, since Knight designs doesn't install peg feelers.

They look like a big improvement for comfort. After acl knee surgery, a one inch drop makes a big difference.

Hello. Does anyone have any suggestions for lowering the passenger foot pegs by 1.5 to 2 inches? I finally got my girlfriend to start ridding with me bout she complains that her legs are cramped up so we can't do longer rides. Thanks for any suggestions.

If my bike could travel at the speed of light, would my headlights work?

Look online for OEM parts and then pull up the part number for FZ 09 cruiser rear pegs. It will drop it about 3 inches. I think $56 a piece. I haven't bought yet because I was waiting to go to the Yamaha dealer and measure the bolt width on both bikes. They are the same. I need to order as well. Stealership wanted $74 a piece to order.

Twisted Throttle sells MFW Vario pegs don't know if the have them for the FZ10 but they make both rider and passenger pegs that lower and can moved forward with an eccentric adjuster.
