Jalopnik is not the place to go for rational tests. They think the world evolves around the Mazda Miata as the finest expression of the state-of-the-art sports car experience. And who rides with a motocross helmet, goggles and hi-top canvas shoes? Yeah, the mileage isn't too good, and the fuel gage is weird, but the other 'issues' he was going on about didn't strike home to me. It looked like he was just looking for something to carp about.

Well fortunately for me I didn't buy it for touring, gas mileage or two up riding LOL
If that was what I wanted I would have bought another FJR :-)

Seemed like a pretty fair review to me. All of the cons are true cons, but may be more or less important to some depending on your priorities.

This was and okay review. I am very happy with this bike, the only cons that I agree with are the backseat and the fuel gauge. I think this bike is one of the best on the market at the moment.

I know one thing, American reviewers shouldn't review this bike until the ECU has been flashed. Our models here in the USA have been detuned down to 130-133 hp. It's like 3/4 of a real fz-10, due to bs emission laws.
