What are you guys opinion of the OEM Bridgestone® Hypersport S20 tire performance? Usually OEM tires are not the best. How is the feedback and grip during aggressive riding? Should I replace them on day 1 with Rossa IIIs or wear these out first? Thanks, Greg

I found the grip on the Battleax tires to be great. They heat up quick and stick where they need to. Only complaint is the life. I'm around 3700mi and they need to be replaced. I have been hooning it up a bit though, so mileage will vary. I wouldn't recommend wasting money by switching out the stock tires before their EOL.

I never had a problem with them in warm weather, didn't much care for them on cold days so they got replaced at about 2k miles with supercorsa v2s.

They aren't great but they work. Wear them out then go for the Rosso's.

i know the post is old but looking at new tires figured i could give a review of tire now that i have about used up mine. I do a lot of hooning one wheel and pushing corners when no one around. I have been in rain so hard visibility was less than 1/8 mile ( stopped when it dropped below that as cars pulled off they could not see ) I rode early this year with 4k miles on them and air temp of 35f ( just below 2c for everywhere else in the world ) It was not till I used neutral throttle in a flat tight 90 dust covered country road at 50mph that i lost traction. but lets face it that was pushing it ( i slid about a foot over and it grabbed again kicking the bike upright, i did not leave the road though ) All in all I am left wanting more of is distance out of tire. was odd that for as much as I throw it into corners the sides did not ware more but TCS so i guess in mode 1 it still keeps it straight. With TCS off it does not take much to brake it out though, trialed that once... only once in open lot at lower speeds ( 40mph ish ) started braking loose and turned into wheelie about 60 percent throttle is where it broke
