Hoping Trump can help us. Hogs have become a huge nuisance and destructive species in the south. They don't have a natural predetor that can keep the population in check. They breed faster than they can be harvested. Even large scale trapping doesn't slow the breeding down. They are are not hard to hunt. They do not require a huge round to harvest. A shot right behind the ear will put them down instantly. When wounded they they can be dangerous when tracking them in thick cover. It gets exciting when they decide to stand their ground. Meat is excellent in all forms of sausage. Small to medium pigs are the best for meat. Large hogs are too fatty imho. Hog back strap is best chicken fried....imho.
