Get about 120-140 miles per tank. If I feather it I can get 150 miles before puckering.

If I’m a hooligan it’s about 28. If I’m road tripping it’s about 35. Found the bike gets best mpg at 5-6k rpm’s 68-74mph.

I get 140-150 miles per tank when I commute. last weekend i went on a 250 miles ride with my uncle in the mountains and I wasn’t riding very hard (stayed in higher gears). i was shocked to see I was getting 45 mpg. I refilled at 180 miles but could have reached 200 miles in theory! although if I recall correctly, they changed the sprocket size on the new gen to get better mpg and make it less punchy i also have a 3/4 Austin racing and flash by 2wdw.

As someone who's on the fence for one of these on mileage how feasible is 35-40 for commuting? Trying to get a fun/commuting bike. Obviously I don't care about mileage when I'm ripping it around, but I plan on just chilling to/from work and throwing a Puig screen on it to lessen the wind. I've always wanted one of these and it's a one bike lifestyle for me right now.

Speaking about the 22+ only:
Recently I’ve been averaging 36-37 commuting. i have about 5 miles of surface roads and 10 miles of freeway one way. When I commute I ride fairly gently. On the freeway I set the cruise control around 75 to 80 depending on traffic.
however, it’ll easily go down to 32ish mpg if you ride it a little harder (hard accelerations/ stay in lower gears)
personally I don’t care much about mpg but more about how often I have to fuel up. I like not having to get gas more than once a week for my commute, mainly in AZ summer when it’s 120F

I have the MRA screen to help with highway stuff. Changing the rear sprocket down 2 teeth to match the 22+ gearing will help in the MPG department and also help to keep the front end down a smidge lol.

Yeah I'd be looking at a new one. I haven't ridden in a bit so I want the nannies to keep me upright. As much as I would like the absolute animal of a bike that I was ogling at back in the day when they came out. I'm going about 35-40 miles each way depending on the route, it's pretty much highways and 2 lane 70mph roads. With some wind depending on the season so a little bit of weight will help out.

The screen helped a ton on the highway honestly. It's so much better now.
