I am also looking into the road 5's. Just not sure how they will perform on our bikes

I got 3000 miles out of the stock rear and replaced the pair with Metzeler Roadtec 01's and love the things, 4k miles in and they should go to at least 6, in a wet test by one of the UK magazines they beat the Pilot Road 5, winning the test.

i am just about ready for a rear @ 3500. I am going S21 next time around, the S20 was a good tire and the S21 supposed to have 35% more longevity... whatever that means in real terms IDK. Longevity is normally miles. My cousin put Michelin PP3'S on his and has over 10k miles on them, not toasted yet. Couple flat spots from highway riding. But still use able |
