I just picked up the FZ on Thursday and put 300 miles on it. My salesmen calls me and says to swing by for an software upgrade. If you turn the ignition switch to on very slowly, the abs light will come on. Software took less than 1/2 an hour.
Anyone else get it done?

The ABS always comes on when you start the bike, and then will go off once you start rolling. It even states that in the Owner's Manual. I wonder what your upgrade was all about.

The service manager said it throws a fault code that keeps the abs light on.

When I picked mine up they had to revise something related to the kickstand switch/system. Hooked up to the ecu and everything.
