I bought one of these a couple of months ago and never got a round to installing it. Was worried I wouldn't like a 1/4 turn throttle. Well I thought I won't know umless I try it. I put it on last week and this past weekend got to 68 degrees. So I got to try out the throttle tube, Seat concepts seat and the new Austin Racing exhaust. I love the throttle tube! It is so smooth. It is not twitchy like it was, doesn't make sense, you think it would be more twitchy. Easy install. Just remove the 2 throttle housing screws, remove the lower and upper housing. Just release the 2 cables and reinstall in new tube. But you have to use a dremel and grind out the 2 plastic stops in the upper housing. Nothing to it. They have to be removed cause the new tube sticks out farther and hits them when you twist the throttle. Very easy to see and understand when you have it apart. You definately don't have to twist your wrist much. Comes on a lot faster. Only tried it in A mode. Will test the other modes when it warms back up.

I did the same thing. I put the throttle tube on and I was wondering why it wouldn’t turn. The plastic housing tabs need to be dremel like you said. Other than that it’s an easy fix
